Activities:

Have the YW write letters to their future husbands, not to be opened again until their wedding day, or have them write down the qualities they want in a husband.

Have each girl bring a thought or poem about friendship; ask what special quality each girl looks for in a friend.

Have the parents provide an interesting story or antecdote about each young woman's ancestor. Tell the stories without revealing whose ancestor it is and then have them all guess.

Each class member should bring a picture of her mother and be prepared to share something important she has learned from her. Then make a craft for them to give to their mothers to show their appreciation.
