Definition:
I am of infinite worth with my own divine mission which I will strive to fulfill.

Scriptural Reference:
D&C 18:10 "Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God."

ACTIVITIES:

Have each girl's mother provide a baby picture of their daughter and write a paragraph or two about her daughter's special qualities. Then let the girls guess whose picture is whose. After they have finished, let each daughter read the note her mother wrote about her.

For Personal Progress #7: Star tby playing a game with the girls sitting in chairs in a circle and one girl starts by standing in the middle of the circle. She thinks of something she can say about herself (I have blue eyes, or I have been to Hawaii, or I like spaghetti...etc.) And everyone who has the same thing in common has to get up and find a new chair. The girl in the middle tries to grab a chair as well. Whoever is left gets to be the middle girl now. Then give a mini-lesson and read the scriptures for #7 in the personal progress book. Talk about why the girls have different gifts. Use the example of a cake: if you leave out even one ingredient, then it doesn't turn out. Then give the girls a piece of paper and have them write their names on it. Have them pass it around and let the girls write nice things about each other. To close, have the mothers write them letters detailing what talents their daughter has, or ask the mothers for one or two ideas and read them off and let the girls guess which girl those traits are about.
