Full of healthy skepticism
She goes out to solve a case
but she finds confusion
In each X-file things defy clear explanation
And she declares, there must be answers within science
The truth can be found there.

Then she's lying to her superiors
In a battle for her life
Life has changed
From the days when trusting others came so easily,
Easily, life has changed.

In the center stands St. Scully
She's a fighter come what may
And she carries the reminders
Of everyone who died for her
Or hurt her til she cried out
In her anger and her pain
"There's no justice, there's no justice"
But the fighter still remains...
