The Girl Scouts of America OK, time to get all sappy and serious! Girl Scouts is a wonderful (note how I emphasize "wonderful!") organization that helps girls discover themselves and their community. I've been a Scout for 7 years and I absolutly love it! (No, not all girl scouts turn out crazy, but I would have never had so much self esteem without them!) While you're at it, why not check out The Boy Scouts too! I'm an explorer (Yes, Girls can join if they're ages 14-20) and the BSA offers lots of opportunities to us!
