Early In The Morning

PINEVERGREEN FOREST

Early in the Morning

Early in the morning
Before the sun is out
The trees, plants and grass
Still soaked with dew
And the air is still
Cold, damp and blue.

Some birds start to sing
And fly from tree to tree
While others just sleep
In the still and quiet air
Until the sun's promise is keep.

Now as the sun rises
The dew starts to melt
And falls to the ground
And the insects awake
And fly around,
And all birds awake to look for
Caterpillars and worms abound.

Now the sun is up
The dew almost dry
The birds sing merrily
In the sun light's beaming pry.
The frogs in the grass
Stopped croaking
And almost everyone awakes
At the sound of the red rooster crowing.

But little do they know
That early in the morning
In the Pinevergreen Forest,
There is more than just mere
Birds, insects, frogs, dew drops
And critters that scurry
For deep in the forest ,
There is mystery.
