I don't know who is the original artist.
If anyone out there knows the artist please let me know.)
(Poetic dialogue between Male and Female)
(Male Voice)
What was it that I saw,
chasing you,
Through the forest,
Last night?
A wraith?
(Female voice)
I was terrified.
Branches and thorns at my clothes
As I ran from the creature.
Tore it to shreds,
Left me running cold.
(M)
What was it that I saw,
chasing you
Through the forest,
Screaming
Last night?
A boar?
(F)
It was big, yet slower than a boar
Still it galloped behind me ,
Coming Closer.
No one could hear me
But the thing and the trees.
(M)
What was it that i saw, chasing you,
Through the forest,
Running
Last night?
A horse?
(F)
No, it had hair the colour of fire
That flickered over it’s handsome face.
Arms and torso knotted with muscle
And a resonting voice that said “wait”.
The bust of a man.
(M)
What was it that I saw, chasing you,
Through the forest,
Speaking to you
Last night?
A man?
(F)
No, its large body ripled
As it trotted on four sturdy legs
Bushy tail followed,
And dudged among trees,
Like an athletic beast.
(M)
What was it that I saw chasing you
Throught the forest,
Mystified
Last Night?
An entity?
(F)
Atlas, some roots triped me
Onto a bed of flowers and lilies,
Yet he charmed me, allured me
With enchanting words,
I was enraptured.
(M)
What was it that I saw, carrying you,
Threough the forest,
On it’s back
Last night?
A Prince on his steed?
(F)
He touch me
Took my hand and mounted me on his back
No longer was I cold, yet bare.
I held on to him,
And rode through the woods
Til dawn.
He was more than just a prince.
