The War Daisies

PINEVERGREEN FOREST

The WAR Daisies

The other evening as I strolled across a vast field of daisies, my heart suddenly came to remembering
my adoration for you so, I reached down to

pick one or two or may be a few to send as a
gift to you. But suddenly as I reached down to pick one another daisy pushed that one aside and shouted,
"No, pick me I want her to gaze me, with delight!"
I was shocked. Again another one shoved that one aside and exclaimed,
"No, don't pick him, I want to be held in her soft hands as she lifts me up to smell my fragrance with her
cute little nose."

You may not believe this really happened but it's true. Apparently, sensing my adoration for you
My beloved, These daisies started to fight for attention. Still, the jostle continued and determination was
solid. Soon, a whole cluster began stirring up in front of me, and jumped on top of each other,
As they ranted on in a fluster,

"No, I want to gaze into her lovely, precious eyes that glitters in the light. "

"No, no, let me look upon her gorgeous face of such divine beauty."

"Wait, wait, pin me onto her clothes so I can smell the fragrance of her alluring perfume."

"My goodness!" I thought, to myself, "What has gotten into these daisies that were once so pleasant. Is my
love for you so strong that I have projected my feeling onto you?"
But that was not all. Within seconds the fight had spread to the daisies at both my sides and behind my

back until I was encircled by, fighting daisies. So There I was, trying to keep my balance in the
midst of the fare. As I heard even more declarations of love and adoration for your mere associations.
You were not even there. Yet these daisies had gone mad over you.

"Let, me be the one sitting in a vase of water
in her room so that I can be with her, until I wither!"
"Get away!" one shouted, pushing the other side,
"I want to be in her presents for that matter!"
"Move aside, I'll be the one to see her smile and hear her contagious laugh that will be music to my ears."
"No put me in her dark luscious hair that smell like a bed of roses."
Pretty soon, the battle had spiraled outward to the whole field causing a full-scale war to break out into epic
proportions. What an awesome sight it was my darling, to see these peaceful plant life suddenly turn into…
War Daisies!
All because of you.
Now the battle had risen to cataclysmic proportions, as daisy warred against daisy, sprouting out arms of
sharp thorns as deadly weapons to slash each other to smithereens, leaving just bits and pieces of
petals, leaves and stems on what used to be a field.

But what did this all mean? Was it a good sign or a bad one? Why would daisies rise up and destroy each
other in a war of Passion? Was this a reflection of my own potential to destroy all that gets in the way
of my love for you? Or was it a general demonstration of the drastic lengths to which people would go
to pursue and acquire love. Even kill for it? Perhaps it is the simple fact that my love for you is so
powerful and electrifying that it has spawned a field of War Daisies.

But my story is not done my sweet heart. For while I stood perplexed among the remnants of flora, I saw a
bright light coming from a distance. Yet this was no ordinary light. Where ever it passed had become
more luscious and colorful. Slowly and peacefully, It came right up to me bringing to life the field
that once was as it approached. And lo and behold, In the midst of the light that was before me, was a
celestial Daisy. Right then and there I knew that this was the one to pick for you, My Love. It brought
what was dead back to life. This is the same daisy I sent to you, darling I hope you love it.

Now I know what this all means:
In the midst of a world of jealously, pain, broken hearts, separation, divorce and crimes of passion we
should all keep in mind and heart that true love mends, heals and brings to life what was dead.
Some times it hurts but it never destroys.
