IN THE BEGINNING, a small
group of intrepid campers ventured into the woods, coming upon an ancient
altar encircled by unlit Tiki torches. Upon setting flame to these ancient
torches to decipher the epitaph on the altar; the earth began to shake!
The campers fell to their knees as a bright flash reveled the TIKI GOD
emerging from the altar.
The campers trembled in fear bowing
to the power of the TIKI GOD. Upon seeing his new found followers, the
TIKI GOD began to speak: "I am your new god! From this time forth you shall
worship me! You will return every year to this spot and partake of wine
and spirits in my name! You must find new followers to join this celebration
which shall be known as HEDONFEST!" As the Tiki
god descended into the earth, the worshipers rose and vowed: "IT SHALL
BE DONE!".
All went well for several
years and the TIKI GOD's worshipers grew in number. Then there arose a
jealous, spiteful god; once a servant of the TIKI GOD, the mighty RAT GOD.
With whispers and promises he started
to lead the worshipers astray. Tricking the TIKI GOD into being traped
in the altar, The RAT GOD destroyed the altar leaving the TIKI GOD no escape.
A new altar arose to the RAT GOD. Great celebrations with free flowing
wine and spirits soon led the worshipers into lewd and lascivious behavior.
The debauchery spread and the worshipers denounced their former god.
In time, the enraged TIKI
GOD freed himself and went in search of his adversary, the "RAT GOD". Searching
far and wide he came upon the worshipers celebrating HEDONFEST 6. As the
ceremony was reaching its peak, the TIKI GOD appeared in front of the altar
in a great flash of light. Knowing they had forsaken him, the worshipers
recoiled in fear. The TIKI GOD called out to the RAT GOD; challenging him
to appear and battle to the death for control of the worshipers. The worshipers
scattered and hid themselves for they knew a terrible battle between the
two great gods was soon to commence. The RAT GOD appeared from behind the
altar, attacking the TIKI GOD tackling him to the ground. In a flash of
light, the TIKI GOD threw the RAT GOD off of him sending him rolling toward
the fire. Picking up a machete, the TIKI GOD went after the RAT GOD slashing
at him, hitting him in the shoulder. The RAT GOD, bleeding from the deep
gash, ran though the TIKI GODS legs coming up behind him, pushing him into
the fire and ran into the woods to tend to his wound. Stumbling out of
the fire, the TIKI GOD followed the blood trail in the woods searching
for the injured RAT GOD. The worshipers feared that they would soon lose
their beloved RAT GOD. They heard a fierce growl from the RAT GOD as he
again attacked the TIKI GOD.
The battle raged into the night.
After many hours of fierce battle, the RAT GOD emerged from the woods triumphantly
carrying severed head of the TIKI GOD.
The worshipers cheered their reigning
god while sending the lifeless TIKI GOD to spend eternity in a bottomless
mine. The worshipers rejoiced in the victory of the RAT GOD over the TIKI
GOD and the celebration endured many days.
