BROTHERS HELPING BROTHERS AND OTHERS
Founded in 1967
Sigma Gamma Chi
is the Church fraternity for college men. It operates under the
direction of the Church Educational System and is designed to provide a balanced fraternity
experience based on Church standards and the six ideals of the fraternity.

Statistical information also indicates the benefits of Sigma Gamma Chi membership.
The average grade point average of Sigma Gamma Chi members is 3.3. Of Sigma Gamma Chi
members, 95 percent marry in the temple, 64 percent serve missions, and 24 non-Latter-day
Saint fraternity members join the Church.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Single college-age men willing to live Latter-day Saint standards may join.
ACTIVITIES
Sigma Gamma chi offers various activies:
*Weekly meetings based on the six ideals
*Social events
*Firesides and other spiritual occasions
*Exchanges with the Lambda Delat Sigma sorority
*Service opportunities
CHAPTERS
Sigma Gamma Chi chapters have been established in Arizona, California, Colorado,
Hawaii, Idaho, Missouri, Nevada, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
There are over sixty chapters on more than forty-five campuses.
