The following strategies are for the Standard scenario.
Germany
Italy
Japan
United Kingdom
Liberation (by Lord Venom, 2/18/2001)
This strategy is used for jcommander's AI's.
As soon as the game starts, start rebasing ALL British air units (England, Gibraltar, Egypt, South Africa, India, Hong Kong, Australia [via Transjordan/Palestine])
to Normandy and consolidate them. Move the Scottish troops and resources to England, route the Canadian resources to England via Acadia (this can be done later),
and start conquering the Italian African possessions. After that is done, route the resources there to England via Morocco. By this time, Germany should have
conquered France. When you have free time during the game, route the remaining territories' resources back to England. Use the British fleet to kill any intruding
Axis fleets in British waters, move the fleet to the zone between England and Normandy, and build there until you have 16 to 20 transports. When that is done,
consolidate them, then start transferring troops to Normandy, and ultimately into France. Build artillery or infantry in sets of (transports * 2), less if necessary, and unload
onto Normandy. You can proceed to conquer unguarded or poorly guarded Axis territories, and route the resources into a production center in Europe (or back to
England, but I wouldn't recommend that). I usually use Northern France. Keep accumulating forces there until you have at least double as many infantry/artillery as
the enemies have defending Germany. That's right, double. The reason for that is because: for one, the German infantry are v3, which makes them more difficult
to kill than regular, unupgraded infantry. For two, the Germans will be able to use incoming resources to repair their organization level, while you won't. You can
compensate for this by building infantry in Northern France in sets of 15-25 and sending them into Germany during the battle. If the battle fails, try again when you have
enough infantry.
France
Italy Rush (by Lord Venom, 2/19/2001)
Start out by rebasing all airplanes in Northern France. Move only the Normandy armies into Northern France, but order the forces in Southern France to invade Northern
Italy. Autoroute all resources to Normandy. After Northern Italy is conquered, IMMEDIATELY order the victorious troops to invade Southern Italy. If it is successful and you
are not conquered, move all troops into your capital FAST, overruning unoccupied territories if necessary. At this point route the resources accumulated in Normany
down to Southern France, and build infantry there up to groups of 6, and head them into the capital. Use the resources in Africa as well. This strategy only works on slower
machines, because on faster computers it is harder to do everything quickly enough.
USSR
United States
The following strategies are for other scenarioes.
