Can't Fight The Moonlight
Part 1
AJ Angel

Sophia layed in bed, and flopped over only to have the mornlight shine in her eyes. She moaned
and flipped back over.
"Time to get up," said a voice. She opened an eye and saw Snarfer right in her face.
SHe gave a shout of surprise and jumped up.
"Sorry. I was sent up to wak you up," Snarfer said.
"That's okay. Which way to the showers?" Sophia asked with a yawn. Sophia ahd spent the night,
after helping to transfer some more info to the archives. She then stayed to do some of her
own research and ended up going to bed late. Now, she needed a shower to wake up. She entered
the then empty showers, precedded to undress, and got into the shower after getting the
tempature the way she wanted. In the middle of her shower, the lights went out.
"What the...?" she started, spinning around. Suddenly she heard a noise.
"Who's there?" she asked.
"What happen to the lights?" asked a voice. Sophia sighed, releived that she knew the voice.
She turned off the water just as the curtin opened. She spun around fast and slipped,
her head catching on something as she landed hard.
"Oh my god," the person said, as Sophia shouted in pain. Sophia heard people coming and
made whoever it was vanish and appear in another room.
"Sophia? Are you allright?" Cheetara asked, miffed about the lights.
"I hit my head," Sophia cried.

Down in the medward, Sophia was beining patched up as she sniffled.
"Come on, it's not that bad," Tygra said.
"Yes it is," Sophia said. Just then, Angela came into the room.
"Sophia, are you all right?" Angela asked, coming over to her, Sophia looked as if she was about
to cry again.
"She just grazed her self on the faucet when she fell, she'll be find," Tygra said, as Sophia
sniffled again.
"My lords, what happened?" Angela asked.
"I was taking a shower and the lights went out, I spun around and slipped. The next thing I know,
Cheetara is asking if I'm allright," Sophia said.
"You must of been scared," Angela said and Sophia nodded.
"Well, the worse if over with now," Angela said. Sophia didn't perk up at this.
"You sure she's okay?" Angela whispered.
"Yeah, I guess she's still in a bit of shock," Tygra replied.
"I think it be best if we stay here awhile...untill she gets over it," Angela said. Tygra nodded
in agreement.

"Agh, how did she do it?" Alluro asked. Ever since the attempt to kidnap Angela, Alluro
couldn't get it out of his head how Angela was able to not fall under his power. He went over
everything, but he couldn't think of the reason. Today, he came up with a plan. And he passed
Luna and Amok on his way out.
"Where are you going Alluro?" she asked.
"I'm going to figure out how that girl was able to not fall under my power," Alluro said,
stopping and looking back at her.
"Don't you think that's a waste of time?" Luna asked.
"Not if I can figure out her secret and make her into our puppet to give us all that information
she has hidden in her mansion," Alluro said. Luna thought about it.
"Then go," she said. Alluro turned and walked away from Luna with a smile.

Back at the Lair, it's early eveneing & Sophia was in the Libary. Every now and then,
she would ginderly touch the bandage on her head.
"You shouldn't do that," said the voice from the darkness. Sophia looked and saw Panthro.
"I know...it hurts when I do," Sophia said.
"Then why do it?" he asked.
"Because," Sophia simply said. Panthro groaned ass eh turned back to her book.
"Any reason why you're here?" Sophia asked.
"Yes. I was wondering if your allright," Panthro said.
":Yes. But turnig out the light didn't help much," Sophia said, not looking at him.
"Look...I thought you were someone else," Panthro said.
"Mmm hmm. Really?" Sophia asked, glancing up at him.
"Yes." Sophia looked up at him.
"And who pray tell did you think I was?" she asked.
"Do you really want to know?" he asked. Sophia sighed as she closed her book.
"Not really," she said as she got up.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"Home. I think it be safer to shower there," she said and swiftly walked out of the room,
leaving Pantrho alone. He was about to follow her when...
"Panthro," came a low and omnious voice. He forzze and slowly turned around to see Angela.
"Uh oh," he thought, seeing the not so happy look on her face.

Sophia went downstairs and headed towards the main doors.
"Going home so soon?" a voice asked. She looked and saw Snarfer.
"Yeah, I have some errands to deal with back home. I may be back tomorrow though," Sophia said.
"Ok. Please careful on the way home though, k?" Snarfer asked. Sophia giggled.
"I doubt anyone would try to attack me," Sophia said, " but I will just the same. Night Snarfer."
And Sophia left.
"Night," Snarfer said. Sophia left the lair and flew over the gorge as she read her notes.
Lion-o whistled when he saw this on the monitor.
"Will wonders never cease?" he asked.
"I wonder why she's leaveing? And with out telling anyone," Snarf said.
"She must have her reasons Snarf. Besides, she's the One of All and an Angel now," Lion-o
said.
"Yeah, I know. But I still don't have a good feelign about this," Snarf said, watching
Sophia walk towards the magic forest.

Later that evening, Angela came into the dinning area where Snarf was setting up for dinner.
"Snarf, have you seen Sophia?" she asked.
"Yes, she left earlier this evening," he said, still setting the table.
"What?" Angela exclaimed. Snarf looked at her.
"You mean she didn't tell you?'
"No. Gods, she must of really been pissed," Angela said, and turned to leave.
"Where are you going?" Angela stops and looks back breifly.
"After her. I have a bad feeling," Angela said, and dashed out. She ran all the way out and
phased through the doors. The sun was setting, and fast. She had to hurry in order to catch up.
From one of the windows, Panthro watched her leave.

In the woods, Angela got a very creepy feeling as she walked alone. It was night now, and she
wasn't able to fly fast enough to beat the sun. She hated being out in the woods alone at
night. All those tall trees making weird shadows and the night sounds. And their were spirits
in the woods that didn't make things any better. It all gave her the major hibejebies.
She shivered and crossed her arms as she walked, a ball of light the only thing guiding the way.
Sure, she could fly. But then she would run the risk of flying into a tree. No thanks.
Suddenly, she heard a noise and stopped in her tracks. She whirled around, and franticlly
looked for whatever it may be.
"Wh..who's there?" she asked. No one replied, but she got another scary sound from another place
and she looked over at it. She was shaking now, as she gulped.
"Surprise!" came a shout. She whirled to see ablur come at her, she screamed and her light ball
went out as she fell to the gournd. Back in the mansion, Sophia gasped as she looked up.
"What's right?" Nightwing asked.
"I think some thing just happened to Angela," Sophia said.
