Mysterious Angels part 3
Where Angels Burn
Tigra Angel Hart

It's late afternoon and Angela is out in the garden, back in the same position as when One came
to the mansion that day. And even though there's not a cloud in the sky, she can feel the water
on her body. From a window, Cheetara watches her carefully.

"She looks so sad," she said.
"She was the same way when One came here," the raven said and Cheetara looked at her.
"How are you?"
"I'm One's familar Nightwing. I was with One when One came here. We were lost and came here
for directions. When we found out who Angela really was, we knew we were led here and have
stayed ever since," Nightwing said.
"Really? What eles can you tell me about One?" Cheetara asked.

Back in the garden, Angela was shocked out of her depression by an arrow hitting the staue in
the fountain. She looked around and saw no one was around. She took the arrow off in one swift
pull and found a note attached to the arrow.

"If you want to see One, meet us at the edge of the south side of the woods before sunset," it
read.
"Should I?" she asked herself, re reading the note. On whim, she put the note down and began to
go to the south edge of the woods. From the bushes, one of the mutants smiled wickedly at this
and went ahead of her en route by the trees. Back at the house, Cheetara looked back out the

window and found Angela gone.

"Where'd she go?" she asked.
"I don;t know," NIghtwing said and followed her as she dashed downstairs and outside.
"She's not on the gournds," Nightwing said, from high above. Cheetara quickly looked around and
found the arrow & note. She picke dit up, read it, & gasped.
"What is it?" Nightwing asked.
"Show this to the others, I have to hurry to stop Angela," Cheetara said and dashed off at her
fast speed, leaving the note to Nightwing.

On the south side of the woods, the Mutants were waiting for Angela. Soon, Angela came out of
the woods. She walked straight towards them but kept 6 feet away from them.
"Where's One?' she asked, see that it was just them. They smirked.
"We didn't say that One would be here," Jackalman said. Angela narrowed her eyes and gave them
her famous look that turned your blood to ice.
"Where is One?" she demanded, using a very frosty ice.
"We'll take you to her." Angela laughed.
"I'm not taking a single step out of these woods with you three," she said.
"You sure about that?" Slithe asked and tossed something over to Angela. She thought it was a
bomb or something but it actually held a gas. She coughed on it a few times and began to feel
drosy. She fought the affects of the gas as best she could before it overwhelmed her. She
collasped to the ground just as Cheetara got there.

"So, its you three again," she said, taking out her staff.
"Stay out of this Cheetara. It doesn't concern you," SLithe said.
"She's a friend of mine, so it does concern me," she said. The three looked at her with narrow
eyes.
"What should we do?"
"We'll fight her, and when she doesn't notice one of us will run off with the girl," Slithe
whispered. The others agreed to this and they made the first move. Cheetara is a good warrior
and was able to handle anything they tried to do, but she was busy tring to watch all three that
she didn't notice Monkian back off and go over to Angela till it was to late.
"Angela!" she shouted when he saw her out cold in his arms.
"Oh no you don't," Slithe said, and the others hel dher back long enough for Monkian to get a
head start. Soon, they broke off and began to follow him. Cheetara raced after them, but the
closer they got to the north edge, the tighter the trees got together and more bushes poped up.
When Cheetara cught up with them, they were all out side the woods in a thicket. They had brought
their vehicals and Mokian was far ahead of them as the other soon followed. She noticed that
they weren't heading for Castle Plundar and gasped when she knew where they were going.

Back at the mansion, the other Thundercats were already there.
"Where's Angela?" the Aurora asked, flying right up to her face.
"The Mutants got ahold of her," she said and gasps went through the room.
"They some how knocked her out and escaped on Sky Cutters and the Nose Diver," Cheetara said.
"Then we'll go to Castle Plundar and save them both."
"That's just the thing, they weren't heading for Castle Plundar," Cheetara said.
"Then where we they going?"
"The Black Pyramid," Cheetara said grimly.
"Mummra's involved in this," Lion-o said.
"We should have known," Bao said, hating himself for not seeing it sooner.
"What do you mean?" Kat asked.
"Angela knows everyhting that happened on this planet and has records of all that history, as
well as everything that was created. As well some itmes that Mummra would love to have," Bao
said.
"So, he kidnapped One to lure Angela out," Panthro said.
"Yes, he's done it before. But Angela had been able to defeat him back then," Bao said.
"What do you mean 'had been'?" Tygra asked. Bao sighed.
"Angela doesn't have all her powers. She's lost some because no one has been here so long, so
they slowly slipped away from neglect," Bao said.
"So, she may not be able to defend herself this time," Kat said, grimly. And everyone began to
wunder what was hapening to Angela at that moment as they peiced together a plan.

Back in the vast desert, the Mutants arrived at the Black Pyramid.
"That was easy," Jackalman said.
"Only becuase we knocked the girl out first," SLithe said, still remembering the fight they went
through the last time they were in the woods. They left they're vehicals out side and silently
went into the pyramid. As they entered it, Angela slowly began to regain consiousness, but kept
them thinking that they she was still out cold. She wanted to see where One was before she
made her move.
"I can't beleiev this is the same girl we fought before," Jackalman said. She could feel him
looking at her.
"Yes, she's very pretty," Monkain said.
"Uh oh," she thought.
"I don't think Mummra would mind i fwe had some fun with her first," said SLithe.
"That dose it," she thought. She raised her hand up in the air and a ball of light appeared in
the palm of her hand.
"Stop her," Slithe said, and she felt someone grab her wrist. She smiled and opened her
eyes, they saw that her pupils were as small as a grain of sand now as she clutched her hand
and the ball of light exlpoded, filling the corador with pur white light. The three mutants
shouted with surprised and quickly tried to protect their eyes. Angela took this chance to
escape, as she got out of Monkain's grasped and ran away from them.
"She's getting away," he said.
"It doesn't matter, she won't get far like that," Slithe said. Angela ran blindly the rest of
the corridor untill she got into a huge room and bumped into someone, and fell back a bit.
"Who's there?" she demanded.
"Angela?' asked a familar voice, after they cleared their theoat.
"Lion-O?" she asked, not looking at him directly.
"What happened?" the perosn aked.
"Used a Light Bomb, but i had to dilate my eyes in order touse it," Angela said, as he helped
her up.
"It's not permiment is it?"
"No, my site will return soon," Angela said, and he noticed that her pupils were slowly getting
bigger.
"Why don't you sit down," he said, and before she could object she was led to a cold stone seat.
She felt it and it was long, almost like a table.
"Where are we?" she asked.
"Inside the Pyramid," said the voice and Angela gasped, as she saw a blured form. She heard
chains rattle and a muffled cry and looked around.
"Who's that?"
"The One of All," the voice said.
"How can you say that so calmly?" Angela asked, starting to get frustated.
"Cuz, I'm her captor," he said. She looked as her vision cleared and saw who it was.
"Mummra!" she gasped and was about to jump off the table when his wrappings grabbed her wrists
and held her to the table.

"I have finally caught you Angela Angel," he said, a look of triumph on her face.
"You won't get away with this, just like all the other times," Angela said.
"That's where you're wrong. I know that you don't have all your powers so you are weaker
then you were when we last met. You weren't even able to keep a simple Gold Sheild up the whole
time you were at Cat's Lair," Mummra said and she went white.
"What are you after this time Mummra?" she asked. He smiled.
"All the information you have locked up in that mansion," he said.
"HA! Like I'll just hand it over to you. You worked this plan out all wrong," ANgela said,
feeling a little confident now.
"MY plan worked out just like I wanted it to. While you are held captive here, I will storm
the mansion and take all the information I want and destroying what I don;t need," he said.
"NO! It took years to collect all that data," she shouted, trying to break the wrappinging.
Even though they looked very old, they held fast as if they were brand new. Mummra was enjoying
this. He finally had Angela and was going to have all the knowledge he ever wanted.
"And once I return with all that knowledge, you both will die," he said. Angela gave him her
winter's death look but it didn't work on him since he was already dead.
"If you lay a single finger on One, I swear i Will tear you shreds," Angela siad, a very dark
look on her face. He walked right up to her and pinched her chin, hurting her.
"You are in no position no say such things my dear. The only thing you can do is submit," he
said, looking right into her eyes.
"Oh no," she thought as his cloak covered her.

Elsewhere, the Thundercats were on their way to the Black Pyramid across the desert. The sun
was setting, star & planets were starting to take shape in the sky. Their was an errie feeling
in the air as they got closer to the pyramid, something was diffrent. As they got closer to the
pyramid, the moonlight shone down in stellar beams, enhanceing it's color. The Thundercats got
out and saw that the mutants were still there.
"The mutants."
"Yes, but why haven't they seen us?"
"Yes, we're right out in the open in this moonlight." They got closer and saw that something
as wrong with their eyes.
By Jaga they're blind!" They soon heard Mummra's laugh.
"Yes they are, but not for long," his voice said and he came out of the pyramid. He was in his
transformed state.
"Where are Angel and the One of All?" Lion-O asked as they stood on guard.
"Inside my pyramid, and they will remian thier for the rest of thie rlives," he said.
"We're not going to let you keep them," Lion-o said.
"If you want them, you'll have to get past me to get them back," Mummra said, with a smile &
attacked them.

Inside, Angela and One watched it all from the cauldron as they were tied up.
"I can't beleive this is happening," Angela said and One looked at her.
"Angela," One said.
"If I hadn't lost my head back in the woods, this wouldn't be happening," Angela said, looking
away from the fight in frustration.
"Angela, listen to me," One said and Angela looked at One.
"This is not your fualt. You had no idea what was going to happen," One said.
"I know, but..."
"No buts about it Angela. Besides, I have a feeling that this is happening for a reason," One
said. Angela snorted.
"Yeah, so Mummra can win and take the planet," Angela said, ciniquetly.
"No, there's more to it than that," One said, very seriously and Angela looked at her with an
arched eye brow.
"Oh Gods,"One said. Angela saw that One was looking at the cauldron and saw that Mummra was over
powering the Thundercats and that the effects of the Light Bomb was wearing off.
"Oh my Gods, No!" Angela shouted.

The Mutants join in the fight soon, making it more difficult now. The others dealt with them as
Lion-O fought Mummra.
"Why don't you just give up cub?" Mummra asked.
"Cuz we're not leaving here with out our friends," Lion-o said. Mummra frowned at this and then
got an idea.
"If you want them so badly, then you can have them," Mummra said and allowed Lion-o passage into
the pyramid. Lion-o didn't know what trick he was playing and kept his eye on the mummy as he edged
owards the entrance. Just when he was 6 feet away from it, everyone heard blood curdling screams
come from inside the pyramid and everyone frozze as Mummra smiled.
"Angela! One!" Lion-O shouted and dashed inside, the others tried to follow but Mummra kept
them out.
"Keep them out here you three," he said and followed Lion-0

Inside, Lion-O's beat fast with terror as he got closer to Mummra's crypt and smelt burning
flesh. Once inside, he stopped and gasped to see both Angela and One still tied up & consummed
in flames. They twisted and turned to get out of their bindings, but couldn't break free. He moved
towards them to be stopped by a beam of magic, he turned to see Mummra coming at him and defended
himself.
"I never said that they could leave alive," Mummra said, a wicked smile on his face.
"You monster," Lion-o growled. As the two fought, the flames were eating deeper into the two's
flesh.
"Angela," One said, not likeing the feel of the flames.
"I'm here One," said and streched out her hand to One.
"I'm scared. I don't want to die," One said, as One reached for Angela's hand. They were just
about to touch when the flames got deep into One's heart and she stiffened as her eyes went wide.
"One. One!" Angela shouted. Lion-O looked over to see what was going on, just as One went limp
and her bonds let her go. Angela looked at this shock as Lion-o was amzed by how she was
withstanding the flames now.
"One," Angela said quietly, and silver tears stramed down her face.
"No. One," she said and pulled on her binds one last time to tear them off, surprising Mummra.
She went over to One who was still barely alive, both consumed in flames still. Angela carefully
lifted One into her arms as she kneeled down.
"One, no you can't die. We can't die yet," Angela said. One smiled at her.
"Its time Angela," One said barely over a whisper, as One slipped away.
"No, One!" ANgela said as One closed One's eyes. Angela's breath caught in her throat when
this happened.
"One, wkae up," she said and gently shook One, but One would not open One's eyes.
"No One...One. No," Angela weakly, more tears coming down her face as the flames went into
her own heart. Mummra looked over at this and smiled.
"soon, the other will die as well," Mummra thought. Angela looked at him, rage in her eyes as
One looked at him with semi dead eyes, bordering on anger.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" they both screamed, Angel grasping onto One as their tears flowed.
Their tears mingled with both each other's hearts and washed away the flames, causing a strange
light to fill the crpyt and spill outside to mingle with the moonlight. Causing a hlat to the
fight outside. Both Mummra and Lion-O had to cover their eyes, but could make out the shapes
of One and Angela in the light. The flames were blown away and something was happening to them.
When the light fadded, both were standing side by side behind Lion-o. He turned and saw that
both had wings.

"By Jaga," he said.
"Lion-O!" they both shouted, as Mummra attacked them all. They held out thier hands and created
as barrier that deflected the attacks back at Mummra.
"He's not going to let us all go alive tonight," both angels said. Lion-O noticed that they
were almost like twins now.
"Then how are we going to get out of here alive?" he saked.
"We'll joined our powers with your sword," Angela said and One looked at her.
"Angela, no. That's a wicked spell in the dark night," One said. Angela looked over at one.
"I know, but not with a third factor," Angela said. One looked at her then nodded.
"Hold up your sword," they both said and Lion-o did. They held out hands to the sword a purple
light began to glow aroudn them. Mummra's eyes went wide.
"No! Not that spell," he said.
"Ultra Viloet," the two angels shouted, their power going into the sword.
"Ho!" Lion-o shouted, guiding and controlling that power. It hit Mummra and his transformed
stated broke arpart liek cloth being shredded and he became a mummy again. The power threw him
back into his sarcoughacus and put him in a deep sleep.
"That was quite a spell," Lion-o said as the power wore down aroudn them.
"Without your help, that spell would have destroied us all," One said, making Lion-o jump
with surprise when One said that.
"But, Mummra will be asleep for awhile. SO he won't be bothering us for awhile," Angela said.
"The others are outside, fighing the mutants," Lion-O said.
"We don;t think so," both Angels said with smiles, and he looked at them a bit confussed.

Back outside, Lion-o found that the other Thunderctas were alone.
"Where are the mutants?" he asked.
"That strange light scared them off. What was it?" POanthro asked.
"It was us," Angela said and stepped out of the pyramid.
She was wearing a violet & white outfit of a white body suit with a violet skirt with white
triming, knee high lace up boots, and hand gloves. Her blonde hair was down to her knees now
and partally held up by a violet bow. Her wings shimmered in the moonlight as she stepped out
and they could see that she now wore two pair of earring in her ears, one pair on the lobe and
the other high on the cuff.

Everyone gasped at this.
"What happened to you?" Kit asked. Angela smiled.
"I have become the Angel of History, my true state," Angela said.
"And what about the One of All?" Kat asked. Angela glanced at the entranced as another Angel
figure appeared in the darkness. Everyone looked to see One come out of the pyramid and gasped
to see an atractive girl about the same height as Angela, but a bit shorter. She had atylish
short brown hair with vivid green eyes. She wore the same outfit as Angela but she had on
green ankle boots, skirt, and earrings.
"Everyone, this is the One of All," Angela said.
"Hello. My name is Sophia Rose and I'm the Angel of Bloodlines," she said.
"One!" Angela gasped and Sophia just looked at her a impish smile.
"No one is here to hear me. And I know they've been wanting to know my name," Sophia said.
Angela moaned as she touched a hand to her head and Sophia smiled with her eyes closed.

"The one of all is a girl?" Tygra asked, and the two angels looked at him a bit confussed.
"It sounds like you thought I was a boy," Sophia said. Everyone got a bit flushed and Angela
gasped.
"You all did?" she asked. They were a bit quiet.
"I wouldn't be surprised, by the way you acted about me," Sophia said and looked over to Angela,
who bluished a bit. Sophia looked to the Thundercats.
"The One of All has always been a girl, ever since the frist was born long ago on Earth. She
is protected by Angela Angel, the one who records this planet's history," Sophia said.
"You're more than just my duty Sophia," Angela murmured.
"I know Angela," Sophia said.

"Well, let's conitnue this talk away from the pyramid. The mutants may return," Cheetara said.
"Yes," both angels said and they all went ot the        Thundetank to return to Cat's Lair
for the night.

If history repeates itself, would it get boring to record the planet's history? More fanfics.
At least her parents didn't name her One. Sophia's not a bad name. Main page.
