The Thunderstrike streaked across the sky towards Cats Lair.  Chet was split between worrying about Cheetara, the pain from her own injuries, and taking in the beautiful scenery of Third Earth.  She was also having a very interesting conversation with Lynx-O.  He turned out to be a very wise old man.  He had told her about all the Thundercats.  She now knew all their names and she would be able to recognize them by their breed and by the descriptions Lynx-O had given her.  He also told her of the Thundercats adventures and all about their enemies.  Chet found the Lunatacs to be very interesting.  She remembered from her years on Plundaar how there was a bitter rivalry between the Mutants and the Lunatacs.  She had never seen a Lunatac, but from the descriptions the mutants had given, they sounded horrible.  Chet was also very interested in Mumm-Ra.  From what Lynx-O said about him she figured he was a very tough opponent.

    They finally reached Cats Lair and Chet was overcome with déjà vu. Images flashed through her mind about the Cats Lair of Thundera.  She felt like she had been there before.  She tried to remember her past, but nothing came up.  The only images that appeared were those of the Cats Lair on Thundera.  The pain from her injuries was catching up with her and she nearly passed out as she stood up.  She walked shakily to the steps and started to go down.  Dizziness overcame her and she blacked out.

    Lion-O and Bengali had exited their pods and Panthro had gotten out of the Thundertank.  They were about to run into the Lair when they heard Lynx-O cry out "Chetania!"  The three male Thundercats swung around to see Chetania lying on the ground unconscious.  Lion-O raced over to her and lifted her up in his arms.  "We have to get her to sickbay."  He said urgently.  The Thundercats ran into the Lair and sped to sickbay.  Lion-O got there first and promptly laid the unconscious cheetah on a medical table.  Pumyra ran over asking, "What happened? How long has she been like this?"  She was asking questions at the speed of light and before Lion-O could utter a word she told him to leave so she could work on her.  Lion-O sat down in a chair to wait when a red and yellow streak crashed into him.  "Oh Lion-O, snarf, I was so worried about you, snarf snarf.  Brrrr, when I saw the Cat Signal go out I was afraid you were hurt, snarf snarf." Snarf cried.  "I'm fine Snarf. You don't have to worry about me.  I am not a little boy anymore." Said Lion-O.

    Panthro, Bengali, and Lynx-O came running down the hall.  "Lion-O, how are Cheetara and Chetania?  Are they okay?"  Asked Panthro.  "I don't know, said Lion-O, Pumyra made me leave before I could check on Cheetara."  Just then Pumyra and Tygra walked through the doors leading to sickbay.  "Cheetara will be fine.  She suffered a deep thigh wound, but we stitched it up.  She should be fully healed in a couple of days.  She will be able to walk by tomorrow." Said Pumyra.  "What about Chetania?" asked Lynx-O.  "She is very badly injured, said Pumyra, she had many wounds, and most of them infected, and bruises on her body.  That is not even the tip of the iceberg though.  We did a test and we found major internal bleeding.  She also ruptured an artery.  Tygra and I have to go get some tools from his lab and we will operate."  She and Tygra ran to his lab and grabbed various medical tools. Pumyra took the more important tools and sprinted back to sickbay.

    Cheetara was resting on a table and thinking about a vision she had received.  She had seen a family.  A family with four people, a mother, a father, and two daughters.  She recognized one of the girls as herself.  She knew the parents as her own, but did not recognize the other daughter.  In this vision Cheetara saw herself at the age of sixteen.  The little girl was about nine years old.  The vision had changed quickly to show a heart shaped locket.  The locket opened and showed the pictures of herself and the other little girl.  It was engraved to say 'To My Beautiful Daughters'.  Cheetara made out her name over her picture, but she could not make out the name over the other picture.  All of a sudden Pumyra rushed through the door and sprinted to a bed on the far side of the ward.  A couple of seconds later Tygra also rushed past her bed to join Pumyra.  Cheetara had not seen who was on that bed, but she prayed to Jaga that whoever it was would be okay.  With that, Cheetara fell into a dreamless sleep.

    The other Thundercats paced outside waiting for news.  The kittens didn't like the tension so they went to help Snarf make new Candyfruit pies. Panthro also couldn't take the anxiety so he went up to the control room for watch duty.  After an hour of waiting Tygra and Pumyra emerged from sickbay looking tired and sweaty.  The other Thundercats leapt to their feet awaiting the outcome of the surgery.  After about a minute of silence Tygra finally spoke up.  "Chetania is going to be just fine."  All the Thundercats let out a sigh of relief.  "She is resting right now and should be better by tomorrow morning." Said Pumyra.  "I will be staying in Cats Lair to monitor them and make sure the surgery was a success." She said.  "I can ask the kittens if they want to take over your post Pumyra." Said Bengali.  "That is a great idea Ben." Said Pumyra.  "Why don't you go ask them right now." Said Lion-O. "OK" said Bengali.  He ran up the stairs towards the kitchen.

    Pumyra let out a sigh that held a hint of exhaustion.  Lynx-O super acute hearing caught that hint.  "Perhaps you should rest Pumyra.  It has been a very long day for you," said Lynx-O.  "Yeah Pumyra, said Tygra, since you said that you would be up all night you should rest until sundown.  I can keep an eye on them 'til then."  Pumyra thought for a moment and finally said, "Yes.  I should get a good rest.  I just want to check on them one more time."  She went back into sickbay.  "We should let Panthro know that Cheetara and Chetania are okay." Said Lynx-O.  "That's a good idea, said Lion-O, let's go tell him right now.  Are you coming Tygra?" "No, I want to be here so Pumyra can go right away.  I also want to make sure she doesn't try to stay." He said with a chuckle.  Lion-O and Lynx-O also gave a chuckle and set off towards the control room.
