Starlight Warriors
2) Fire and Water

It was only moments ago when out heros split up to gather the three Starlight Saphhires
that hold the sleeping Starlight Warriors within them. Lynxo and Snarfer stayed at the tower while Wiley Kit, Wiley Kat, and Snarf stayed at the Lair...just in case any of the villians decied to take advantage of the split up. Meanwhile Eon, Angela, and Sophia went to Firerock Mountain. Benglai, Pumrya, and Cheetara went to the River of Sorrows. Lion-o, Panthro, and
Tygra went to the Unicorn Forest. Gods only knew what was to happen next.

Up on Firerock Mountain Eon, Angela, and Sophia walked up the path to the sleeping Fire Star.
"Tell me again why we aren't flying?" Eon asked. Angela sighed.
"Because, that would make us moving targets. Get with the program Eon," she said. Eon arched
an eybrow.
"The Mutants and Lunatacs have guns within thier possesion," Sophia said. Eon had an oh look
on his face.
"Speakig of which, I wonder where they are," Angela said thoughtfully.
"Wouldn't you like to know," said a shrill voice. The three looked and saw the Lunatacs.
"And these would be the Lunatacs?" Eon asked, sounding unimpressed.
"Yes, they are Eon," Angela said with a moan. Luna smiled at this unrest and gave a silent
signal to Chilla. Chilla smiles and covers the area in frost and ice, creating a varable
smoke screen to allow Alluro and RedEye escpae so they could find Fire Star. But Sophia
noticed had this and was determined to not let them get the best of her.
"Oh no oyu don't," she said, jumping above the 'ice screen', unfurling her wings, and flying after the two.
"Sophia!" Angela shouts and moves to follow, but a balst from TugMug's anti grav gun deters
that decision. Soon Eon and her were fighting the Lunatacs that had stayed behind.

Upahead, RedEye was using his special vision to look for the gem.
"Blast, this is like looking a needle in a haystack," RedEye said, nothappy about how the
heat of the gem was blending in with it's suroundings.
"Then ti'll be a very hot needle," said a female voice. The two looked and saw an angelic
figure.
"Who's there?" they both asked.
"The Angel of Bloodlines," Sophia said and stepped out where they could see her better.
"And I'm not going to let you find that gem," Sophia said, producing a sword from her very
soul.
RedEye raised an eyebrow at this. His reactions were surprise...and slgiht disgust, thinking
that she had pulled it from her own body. Alluro just glared at her as he took out hsi psy
club.
"You look for that gem, I'll deal with her," he said.
"Be my guest," RedEye said and continued. Sophia moved to stop him but Alluro stepped in her
way. The two fought loudly as RedEye looked for the gem. Then he saw something the looked diffrent than the rocks and terain. He investigated and found it to be the Fire Starlight Sapphire. A grin spread on his face as he picked it up.
"Finally," he said and looked back on the fight below him.
"Maybe I shold give Alluro a hand," he mused to himself.

Back below, the fight stopped only for a moment when they heard a female scream from up above. Eon and Angela gasped when they saw Alluro and RedEye come down, but not Sophia. When Luna saw that they had the gem, she called a retreat and they vanished.
"Mummra's helped them to escape. I just know it," Eon said.
"Forget them," Angela said and dashed away from him. Eon galnced to see that she was runnig up the moutain trail and began to follow her. They both found Sophia lying on the ground with serious wounds, her blood staining her outifit and mixing with the red ground below her.
"Sophia!" they both shouted and went over to her. Eon reached her first, skidding beside her he gently lifted her into his lap as Angela came up near him. Sophia moaned and looked at them.
"I'm sorry," she said, almost forcing the words out. Angela let out a sigh of relief.
"It's alright. As long as you are alive," Eon said, looking at her. Angela looked at him and noticed something in his eyes that she never noticed before.
"Gods. It hurts," Sophia said, breaking Angela's thoughts.
"Let's get you back to the Lair then," Angela said. The three of them slowly fadded away, vanishing from Firerock Moutain and appeared in the Lair's afirmary. Eon laid her down on a
table as Angela quickly grabbed medical supplies to treat her with.
"I hope the others do better than we did," Sophia said. Eon's stomach twisted with worry when
she said that.

Meanwhile, at the River of Sorrow. Bengali, Pumyra, and Cheetara were combing the sides of the river. The three met where the Bridge of Light would be.
"Find anything?" Cheetara asked.
"Growl. No," Benglai said (ever notice how he always growls when he's not happy?).
"It could be on the other side of the river or..." Pumrya said, and they all looked to the
river itself.
"In it," she finshed. Cheetara and Bengali moaned at this.
"Perfect," Bengali said.
"If that Black Widow Shark wasn't it there..." Cheetara said, as they walked over the the Thunderstrike to detach the two pods.
"But no, thatw ould make this too easy," Bengali said, climbing into one.
"Speaking of easy, shouldn't we have encountered the Mutants or Lunatacs by now?" Pumyra asked. Speak of the devil, the Mutants came out and attacked them.
"Great," Pumyra moaned.
"Think you can handle going doing down alone?" Cheetara asked Pumyra.
"Yeah."
"Then we'll deal with them," Benglai said. Cheetara and Benglai distracted the mutants long enough for Pumyra to take a flight pod under water. She was amzed by how diffrent things
looked under the water as she scanned for the sleeping Water Star. Before long, she was
attacked. She looked and saw that it was Slithe in the NoseDiver. Cursing lightly under her breath she turns to face him. They are about to fight when the Black Widow Shark decides to
but in.
'As if this could get any better,' Pumrya said and saw a glint of blue light out of the corner
of her eye. She looks and gasps to see the blue starlight saphire gem. And she looks back just
in to see that she's face to face with the wicked looking shark.

On the shores, everyone notices bubles breaking the surface of the water and splashing from the shark's massive tail. Dread begins to fill everyone as the commotion stops. Moments later, a smoking NoseDiver comes out of the water, followed by a battered looking pod.
"Retreat!" SLithe shouts and leaves, followed by the other mutants.
"Pumyra!" Benglai shouts. The two Thundercats dahs over to the pod as it opens. Water and a shaken up Pumyra spills out onto the ground.
"By Jaga, what happened?" Cheetara asked.
"Slithe got the gem! If that shark hadn't decided to try and make meals out of us at the time," Pumyra said angrily.
"Let's get you back to the Lair. You could be hurt," Benglai said, helping her up. Pumrya just nodded as he did so. Cheetara hung back a bit as they went to the Thunderstrike. Her sixth
sense was telling her that somehting else was wrong.
