Tarnished Memories

Hello everyone! I'm back with a new mini series. By now, you now that the Thundercats are
not of my own creation. But, Angela and Sophia are, so please so take them without asking
first. Thanks, now on with the show

Tarnished Memories
P1) Moon
AJ Angel

It was a sunny day in the magick woods that Angela lived. She was out on a picnic with
Sophia and the twins. The two have taken a liking to the two angels and love to hear stories
about the other earth and their past lives. Angela was telling them about when she was a queen
back on Earth when eyes were watching them from the shadows of the woods. It was Luna, Amok,
Chilla, and Alluro. Tugmug and Red Eye were not able to get in because the spell was keeping
them out. Luna was not very happy about this.

"We could have used their help in this," she said.
"We know, but we can't do anything about that spell. We know nothing about magick," Chilla said.
Luna moaned.
"But we can still get the girl and then all the knowledge of the past is ours," Alluro said.
"And then we'll be able to get rid of the mutants and Mumra, then 3rd Earth is ours," Luna
said, a smile forming on her lips. She looked back at the small picnic; they still were
unaware that they were there.
"Let's get them now," she said.

Angela and Sophia looked up from the story to see the four Lunatacks forming at them, and the
twins gasped.
"Lunatacks," they both said, and Sophia flashed back to the night she saw them in the pond.
Suddenly, she wished she wasn't so quick to look away from images the dead Sophia tried to
show her.

"Time to go to work," Angela said and they broke up into pairs. The twins took Luna and Amok,
Sophia got Chilla, and Angela got Alluro. It was fun to watch this. The twins were actually
having fun fighting with Luna and Amok today. Angela glanced over at this and giggled.
"That's the spirit," she said. Alluro out his psyche club when she wasn't looking.
"Let's take some of that spirit then," he said.
"Huh?" she asked, and looked back just as he used his club on her. It hovered above her head,
and it shone down its power on her. Angela looked up at it and everyone saw this.
"Oh no," the twins said and tried to help, but Amok stopped them.
"Angela!" Sophia gasped, and Chilla stopped her advances with a few ice darts. Everyone was
quiet for a few heartbeats and a smile formed on Alluro's lips.

"What is heaven's name is that?" Angela asked, reached up and took the club in her hands.
The Lunatacks dropped thier jaws when this happened. Angela noticed this and had a confused
look
on her face.
"What?" she asked.
"Fool! You were suppose to fall under it's spell!" Alluro shouted.
"Really?" Angela asked, amazed.
"Yes," Alluro said.
"Wow! But, it doesn't work on me. Sorry honey," Angela said and tossed the club back to Alluro,
who caught it clumsily, still a bit shocked. Sophia and the twins let out a sigh of relief at
this mo and the fight was resumed.
"You won't escape," Alluro said, attacking with his club. Mad that his "power" didn't work on
Angela. She calmly dodged with a non-chalant look on her face. She glanced over at Sophia and
Chilla, who was trying to cover Sophia in ice to make her a living popcicle.

"SOPHIA!" Angela shouted and tried to move to help her, but Alluro would let her pass.
"Let me pass fool," Angela said in her darkest voice, sending chills up his spine.
"You'll have to get through me to get to your friend dear," Alluro said, a smile on his lips.
Angela narrowed her eyes as a light red tint glazed over them.
"Let's dance then," she said and stood, ready to fight him. Right then, he began to wonder what
he got himself into as she took the first move and went right for his jaw and side.

Meanwhile, Sophia was using her power to keep the ice from touching her skin. She hated the
cold and the ice looked as if it would burn instead of freeze her. She saw the confident look
in Chilla's face as the ice began to go up past her neck.
"Right Chilla, freeze her," Luna said from another place on the field. Sophia saw the plan now.
They would have taken Angela to get to the data back in the mansion, but since that didn't work
they were going to try and catch her, then use her as leverage. Sophia smiled, it was a good
plan. But, it wouldn't work. She glanced back over to Angela just before the ice went over her
eyes to see she was making quick work of him. She giggled lightly at this, and Chilla looked on
confused.
"What's so funny?" Chilla asked. Sophia looked at her with a confident look that shocked her.
"Your plan won't work. Phoenix's Fire," Sophia said, fire spread from her skin and made quick
work of the ice. It burst off from her and showered everyone. This stopped the fight between
Alluro and Sophia, surprising them both. Sophia's eyes were closed and head titled up as her
hair billowed out as the flames faded from her skin. She lowered her head and looked at Chilla
with a soft smile.

"I have my own powers to you know," Sophia said. A drop of sweat fell down the side of Chilla's
head at that moment. Angela lightly laughed at this, and went out of fight mode.
"I should have known better," she said softly to herself. Sophia slowly turned and looked at
Angela, making sure that Luna saw her calm expression.
"Shall we?" Sophia asked. Angela smiled.
"Yes," Angela said. The two glowed and their wings appeared, surprising the Lunatacks as the
twins slowly moved away from the field.
"Solar Explosion!" the two angels shouted and the sun shot down fireballs that set of great
big explosions, scattering the Lunatacks. The twins were awed by this power as the Lunatacks
tried to not get hurt. At one point, Angela and Alluro bumped into each other and scuffled to
move away from each other. And Angela didn't notice the tug around her neck and the sound of
something breaking.

Sophia and Angel laced their right hands together and held out thier left hands. Those hands
glowed bright green and they touched them to the ground. The ground then began to warp and
shake under the Lunatacks feet.
"Retreat," Luna shrieked and Amok took her off the quaking ground, and Chilla and Alluro
followed her. The angels made the quake follow them for a mo before making it stop. The two
smiled as they powered down and their wings vanished.
"They're gone now," Sophia said and the twins came out, all excited about what they saw and
began talking a mile a minuet. Angela and Sophia smiled at this.

Meanwhile, the four Lunatacks made it out of the woods alive, where Tugmug and Red Eye were
waiting for them.
"What happened?" Tugmug asked.
"They were more powerful than we expected. And Alluro's Club didn't work on her," Chilla said.
Alluro glared at her then noticed that he was holding something in his hand.
"What's that?" Luna asked as he held it up. It was Angela's locket.
"A locket of some sorts," he said and opened it to see the pages of pics. In the back was
Angela, Lance, and Spirit King.
"That must be Angela's. She never takes it off I hear," RedEye said.
"Then how did you come to get it?" Tugmug asked. Alluro thought about it for a mo.
"I must of grabbed it somehow during the fight," Alluro said. Luna was thinking about all of
this.

"You said she never takes it off right?" Luna asked.
"Yeah, that's what I heard," Red Eye said. A smile formed on Luna's lips.
"She's going to notice that it's gone sooner or later. So, we she does..." she trailed off and
the others caught on. The day wasn't a loss after all.

Back at the mansion, Angela plopped into an armchair. She and the others had just gotten back
and they were in the living room.
"I can't believe they tried to pull that on us. Grrrr," Angela said, not very happy. Sophia
sighed as she sat on the couch, with a twin on each side of her. They had decided to pack up
and finish their stuff back at the mansion.
"So, where did we leave off on the story?" Kit asked. Angela thought about it as she reached
for her locket, but didn't find it.
"Uh oh," she said and grasped all over her neck, and checked in her shirt.
"What's wrong?'" Kat asked.
"My locket.... It's gone," Angela said, almost in shock. Sophia's eyes went wide.
"Uh oh," Sophia said and Angela gasped in realization.
"I lost it during the fight...when Alluro and I...HE HAS MY LOCKET!" Angela shouted and jumped
up from her seat, angry apparent on her face. This freaked the twins a bit.
"What's wrong with her?" Kit asked.
"That locket is the only thing Angela has left from Earth. Everything else has either been
stolen or destroyed," Sophia said.
"I'm going to kill him," Angela said and began to storm out of the room as Sophia stopped her.
"No, Angela. You need to calm down," Sophia said. Angela looked at her with the red glazed
eyes, and scared Sophia. Angela noticed this and calmed down.
"What now?" Angela asked.

Back in Sky Tomb, Alluro was looking over the locket once more. The chain had broke two inches
from the clasp, and a link was missing. He was curious how someone could make a locket with so
many leaves. There were pics of her freinds and family from the different stages of her life.
Normal, magick, and royal. Luna and Amok were already in the room with him, making sure that he
wouldn't loose their asset in this plan as VultureMan came into the room.
"What's that?" he asked.
"Angela's locket," Alluro said, handing it to him as he sat down at the table with Alluro.
"You didn't get either girl?" VultureMan asked, looking the locket over.
"No. They were stronger than we thought," Alluro mumbled.
"How could two little girls be such trouble to you?" VultureMan asked.
"You'd be surprised," Luna said, making VultureMan look up at her with an raised eyebrow.

Angela was mad as hornet as she rode with Panthro and Tygra in the Thundertank. The two could
feel her anger from the front seat as she rode in back. Tygra glance back at her from time to
time, she never changed her position of crossed legs, folded arms, and looking at the wall
across her as if trying to burn a hole into it.
"She must be really ticked about this. I'm glad Sophia was able to get some sense into her
back at the mansion," Tygra said.
"Me too, but I don't understand why she didn't come along as well," Panthro said.
"That would be over kill," Angela said, surprising the two as she came up closer to the front
now.
"You ok now?" Panthro asked.
"Yes. I was just thinking how I'd like to kill Alluro once i get my hands on him,' Angela said
and the two guys moaned, knowing that it was going to be a bumpy night.

Panthro parked the Thundertank in a spot away from where the Sky Tomb was parked for the night.
Angela was the first one out and she took both their wrists.
"I'll get us in," she said and they all glowed pale purple. They soon vanish then reappear
inside Sky Tomb, about in the middle of it.
"What was that?" Tygra asked.
"My teleport power. Neat huh?" Angela asked and began to walk down the hall.
"Wait!" Panthro said and they ran to catch up with her.
"How do you know where to go in here?" Panthro asked.
"That locket is laced with my energy. I just hone it and I know where to go," Angela said.

From another room Luna, Alluro, and Vultureman heard this. Luna gave a silent signal, Alluro
pressed a button that made a trap door dropped out from under our heroes. The guys were dropped
down to another room where the other Lunatacks were waiting for them, and Angela was sucked up
to that room. She was dropped down from the ceiling, but she landed gracefully on a crouching
position as she unfurled her wings as she looked down. She looked up at Luna, Amok, and Alluro
with cold narrowed eyes that glared at them. They had chills in their spines from this and
Alluro glanced over to where Vultureman was but he was gone now.

"Where is my locket?" Angela asked. Alluro about to tell Luna his discovery but...
"Safe...for now," Luna said as Angela stood up and glared right at her.
"What the hell do you want bitch?" Angela asked, her eyes tinted red. The Lunatacks gasped.
"What did you say?" Alluro asked. She turned her head to him slowly.
"You heard me," she said.
"But, you're an angel! You can't..." Luna started.
"Don't assume what I can or can't say. Now, where's my locket?" Angela asked. Luna looked to
where Vultureman was and saw that he was gone. During so, Angela noticed that her friends were
busy with the other Lunatacks. She lightly laughed at this.

"So, that was your plan huh?" Angel asked.
"Yes. Very well thought out huh?" Luna said with false confidence. Angela smiled darkly and
pulled a gold handled sword with purple gems out of thin air.
"'But you forgot one thing," Angela said, spreading her power to her sword.
"What?" Luna asked, now nervous.
"My rage," Angela said, and pointed the blade to the floor.
"Earth Rage Strike," Angela said and all her rage went into the building, causes the place to
shake, and blow up equipment. The fight down below was stopped when the heroes and villains
were separated by debris and the two Thundercats were thrown out into the hall.
"Angela," they both said and ran to go find her.

Back upstairs, Angela was finishing her attack and took the sword out of the floor. The three
Lunatacks were in shock that she could do that and she smiled wickedly.
"So, Vultureman has my locket now huh?" she asked. Alluro could just nod now.
"I guess I'll go to castle Plundar and get it then," Angela said, nonchalant as she turned away
form the three.
"W...wait," Luna said, getting her voice back. Angela then turned back and pointed the sword
tip right at Luna.
"And if you ever try anything like you did today again, I will personally kill you. And you
know I will too. K?" Angela said in her coldest voice, then very chipper at the end.
"S...sure. Whatever you say," Luna said. Angela smiled and left the room, with the sword still
in hand. When she is well out of the room, they all let out sighs of relief.

Down the hall, Angela met up the guys.
"Angela, what the hell just happened?" Panthro said.
"I shook things up a bit," Angela said.
"Why?" Tygra asked.
"It was just a little lesson, and I think they learned it," Angela said, and led the way out.
"Then, you have your locket back then," Panthro said and Angela sighed.
"No. Vultureman escaped with it," Angela said, with a slight yawn as they were walking outside.
"So, what do you want to do now?" Tygra asked.
"Sleep off the rest of my anger and figure out what to do next in the morning. I'll deal with
the Mutants tomorrow," Angela said, and got inside the Thundertank. The guys smiled at this
and climbed in after her. And they head to Cat's Lair for the night.
