Kraiken stood on the limb of the oak tree thinking about the past. About how men used to dominate the Tree Top Kingdom. That was until Willow, daughter of King Dimian, stood up for women's rights. She gathered an army of the most skilled women fighters and they overtook the village. The men were sent to a separate part of the village to keep house, clean, take care of the male children, cook, and many other household chores. It had been that way for the past one hundred years. Kraiken's dark, almond eyes watched the sunset. His short auburn hair flowing in the light breeze.
"Hey Kraiken!" yelled a voice. Kraiken snapped out of his thoughts and looked down at the ground. A sandy haired man was motioning for him to come down. Kraiken agilely hopped down limb by limb. He landed on the soft earth with a thump.
"What is it Rolan?" he asked.
"It is time to return to the village." Rolan answered. They headed back towards the village. "What did you collect today?" asked Rolan.
"Some berries, nuts, and wood." Answered Kraiken. He opened his sack to show Rolan. "What did you get?" he asked.
"I found the same thing." He said with a grin. He also opened his sack to reveal identical contents. They both laughed and continued on. Soon the village came into view and they rushed to the elevator. It brought them up to the top and they went into their house.
All young men in the village shared a house with three or four other boys the same age. This way they could practice their skills with the help of others. In their tree house, which they called the Great Oak, there lived two other boys, Riley, Rolan's twin brother, and Tyron, a black haired, blue eyed boy. All the boys were good friends and the same age, twenty-five.
They were average boys except for Kraiken. He was special. He was the son of Ferra, who was also the mother of Willa and Nayda. Even though he had this parentage he was still a commoner in the man village. He grew up with his father, Derak. He attended school and made friends with Rolan, Riley, and Tyron. They moved into the Great Oak when they were eighteen and had lived there ever since. They were happy and didn't have a care in the world. What they didn't know was that someone was watching them. Devising an evil plan that revolved around them. They also did not know that this plan would begin that night.

Lightning struck the four, black obelisks surrounding the great black pyramid. The thunder clapped, but it did not disturb the occupants of this morbid place. Mumm-Ra, the ever living, and his faithful canine, Ma-Mutt, stared into the bubbling, purple waters of a giant cauldron. It showed Kraiken and Rolan putting away their gathered supplies.
"Yes, Ma-Mutt. Tonight is the night we put my plan into effect." Mumm-Ra cackled. Ma-Mutt growled and barked at the images of the two men.
"Ancient Spirits of Evil, transform this decaying form to Mumm-Ra, the Ever Living!" Mumm-Ra chanted. The four statues glowed and Mumm-Ra changed to his warrior form. "Now," he continued," give me the appearance of the ghost of Dimian, King of the Warrior Men." A bright light surrounded him. When the light had faded Mumm-Ra no longer stood there. In his place stood an old man, around fifty years old. He had long, brown hair, almond eyes, and was wearing regal robes of green. There was a bluish tint to him making it clear that he was a ghost. He rose into the air and teleported to the Great Oak. The other boys had returned and they had all gone to bed. Each boy had his own room and Mumm-Ra entered Kraiken's.
"Kraiken!" he said in a rough voice. Kraiken stirred and sat up. He saw Mumm-Ra/Dimian and gasped.
"Your, your K-King Di-Dimian." He stammered.
"Yes," said Dimian," I have come to you, my descendant; to tell you the time is right. You must overtake the Maidens and reclaim the village for the men. Take this." He handed Kraiken a sword and shield, both encrusted with the symbol of Dimian, a lightning bolt, fire blast, and water spout forming a triangle. "You now have my powers." Dimian continued." You now control electricity, water, and fire. Gather an army and overtake the village. Kill Willa, Nayda, and everyone else who stands in your way." With that Dimian disappeared leaving Kraiken to his thoughts.
"I will fulfill my destiny." He said quietly. He set the sword and shield on the floor and went to sleep, dreaming of ruling the Warrior men just as Dimian did. Mumm-Ra smiled wickedly as he watched from the shadows.
"It is all coming together perfectly." He said
