Willa led them to her hut. She looked very grim. The Thundercats had never seen her look so angry. She finally spoke up.
"There is a man village." She said. "It is a couple miles from here. We keep our eye on them, but you may accompany me for the daily check. If there is an uprising going on I may need your help. Tell me, what did this man look like?"
Lion-O and Bengali looked at Chet. She tried to recall if Cheetara had said what the man looked like. She couldn't remember, but she had a feeling that if she saw him, that she would know.
"Me and Cheetara are connected psychically so I should know him if I see him." She told the others.
"Alright, let's go." Willa said.
The four of them left the hut. They did not go down the elevator though.
"We will get to the village by way of the trees." Willa said. "It is much faster than by foot. Do you think you can handle it? Most of the way calls for agility, speed, timing, and balance." She finished. A small grin crept onto her lips.
Chetania also grinned. This was her kind of thing. She looked over to the two Thundercat males. They looked pretty confident, but she knew this wasn't their kind of travel.
"I guess I should have just sent Chet, Pumyra, and the Thunderkittens on this journey." Lion-O said.
Bengali and Chet laughed and they started on their journey. Nayda and Juna shortly joined them. The four women easily jumped from branch to branch, but the men had a bit more trouble. Chetania swung across the gaps with her lariat and used her super speed to zip across flimsy branches. The three Warrior Maidens managed the branches using the hanging vines and their amazing agility. Bengali and Lion-O fared well, but had a harder time. Their muscled bodies could not easily fit through some of the gaps the more slender bodied women could.
When they finally got out an amazing site met their eyes. They were high up in the tree tops and could see for miles. The foliage was beautiful, but this didn't last long. Gasps from Willa, Nayda, and Juna made them tear their eyes away from the awesome sight. They looked down. In the lower trees they saw another village exactly like the Tree Top Kingdom with one huge difference. This village was inhabited by men.
These men looked very busy. They had formed a large group and were yelling and cheering. A hush fell over them. One man stood higher than the rest, standing on a high branch. Chetania took one look at him and her sixth sense went off like a bomb. She grabbed her head and moaned. Her head hurt so bad that she almost toppled off the branch she was standing on.
"Chet!" Lion-O yelled. He caught her before she fell. "What's the matter?" He asked.
"It's him." Chet groaned. "That dark haired man that stands above the rest. He's the one."
Willa looked down and her eyes narrowed to slits. "Kraiken." She hissed.
Nayda was also glaring at the man. Willa took what looked like a seashell out of her pocket and blew it hard. It made a sound like a foghorn. All the men whirled around and looked up at the six figures above them. Kraiken scowled.
"What do you want, sister?" He hissed.
Sister!!! The Thundercats all looked at Willa. She was glowering at Kraiken.
"What is going on here." She yelled to him.
"Something that we should have done a long time ago." He yelled back. "We are taking back what is rightfully ours. Control over the Tree Top Kingdom. King Dimian came to me last night and gave me his powers. He told me it was time to retake what is rightfully mine. He gave me his word and shield so that I might take the throne and Third Earth as my own."
"You will never succeed Kraiken. You do not have the power too. The Warrior Maidens will stop you." Willa retorted.
"With the help of the Thundercats!" Lion-O added.
Kraiken laughed. "You will never have the chance to fight me." He said with a wicked grin. "Because I am going to destroy you now." He held up his hands and a burst of fire shot towards them.
"Get out of the way!" Nayda yelled. The six of them ran back. The tree caught fire and it spread quickly.
"We have to something Lion-O!" Bengali yelled.
Lion-O nodded. He removed the Sword of Omens from its hilt.
"Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats Hoooooo!" He yelled. The Cat Signal
shot into the sky.
