All of a sudden lightning struck.  Rain began to pour down and the ground began to shake.  The wind roared.  It was almost impossible to stay standing.

"Join me brothers and we shall be safe." Kraiken called.  He transported the men and created a circle of them surrounding him.  A white dome settled around them and they were safe from the terror that had struck.

The Warrior Maidens were trying to get down to the ground.  Cheetara clung to Tygra as the Thunderclaw was whipped around in the fierce wind. Pumyra and Snarfer were having the same problem.  Wiley Kit and Wiley Kat had to jump onto a tree before they fell off their spaceboards.  Chetania raced through the tress trying to avoid falling branches as she tried to reach the Thunderkittens.  On the ground Lion-O, Panthro, and Bengali could barely keep standing.  They had to dodge falling trees and lightning strikes.  Lion-O looked up to see the Hovercat and Thunderclaw struggling to keep themselves airborne.

"Jaga, help us." Lion-O prayed as he tried to figure out what to do.  Then he heard a scream.  He looked up and saw that the Thunderclaw had just escaped being hit by lightning, but it was now spinning out of control.  "Tygra!! Cheetara!!" Lion-O yelled.

Luckily Tygra used some quick thinking.  "Cheetara, hold onto me." He yelled to her.  She nodded and clung tighter to his waist.  He took out his whip and shot it towards a tree.  It wrapped around it and they swung off the falling Thunderclaw.  They landed safely on the ground as the Thunderclaw hit the earth and exploded.

Pumyra and Snarfer abandoned the Hovercat the same way as it began to fall. They also landed safely on the ground, but couldn't say that much for the Hovercat.  Luckily, the heavy rain quickly doused the flames that covered the two fallen vehicles.

This rain, though, did not help Chetania as she tried to get to Wiley Kit and Wiley Kat.  Kat had gotten his leg stuck between two fallen branches.  Kit tried in vain to lift the branch, but it was to wet for her to grasp and far to heavy for her to lift on her own.

"Hold on Kit.  I'm coming." Chet yelled as she raced across the branches. She finally reached the kittens.  "Don't worry Kat, we'll get you out of this." She grasped the branch and pulled with all her strength and it budged a little bit.  "Kit, pull with all your strength." She grunted as she pulled.  Kit grabbed the branch and pulled.  Little by little it gave way.  After a minute they had pulled the branch high enough for Kat to get his leg out.  He wrenched it free.

"Let's get out of this tree." He said as he clutched his leg.  The two girls dropped the branch and nodded in agreement.

"Chet, look out!!" Cheetara screamed.

Chetania looked up. The top half of the tree had snapped off and was going to fall right on top of them.  She grabbed Wiley Kat and whipped off her lariat.  Wiley Kit did the same.  They wrapped them around a nearby tree and swung off the doomed branch as the tree came toppling down.  They landed safely on the ground.  Chet, still carrying Wiley Kat, and Wiley Kit ran towards the others.

"What are we going to do?" asked Wiley Kit.

"There is nothing you can do Thundercats!" Mumm-Ra was floating above them with a wicked grin on his face.

"Mumm-Ra, you're behind this.  You gave Kraiken those powers.  You are using him to conquer Third Earth for you." Cheetara said.

"Very good Thundercat." Mumm-Ra cackled.  "And there is nothing you can do about it.  Mwaaa haaaaa haaaaa!!
