Submission Information

Over the past few months, I've received a lot of questions as to how to submit fics and what the guidlines are. So I've prepared a list that is hopefully clear, defining, and not too weird. If there are any questions, feel free to send me an email!

Rules for Submitting
1. Absolutely NO stories that could be classified NC-17!!! I know there are a lot of you out there who enjoy that kind of story, but my page has no legal disclaimer for people under 18 and I'd really like to keep it that way. This web site is for the younger generation as well as the older generation. So if you're going to write a graphic slash story, please send it somewhere else. There are pages that specialize in it. I appreciate the effort it takes to write something like that and the creativity involved, but I don't have a place to house that kind of fiction.
2. For new authors, I need your writer's name and email address. This is only for those of you who are submitting for the first time. Most of you out there, I already know. But for the newer writers, I need to know what you would like to be called in the Thundercat universe (feel free to use your given name or come up with a pseudonym) and whether or not you would like your email address displayed for the purposes of feedback. If you don't want your email address displayed, let me know and I'll have feedback sent to me and forward it on to you.
3. Be creative! This is a work of fiction and a rather bizarre world. (TCats breathe in space for some of the episodes.) So let your imagination run wild and see what you can come up with.

What to Submit
1. Thundercat Canon Stories Well, duh. What else did you expect me to say? This category is basically for those stories with a main focus on the team as they appeared in the series.
2. Crossover Stories These stories take the Thundercat characters and add in other groups. Feel free to combine the Thundercats with movies, sitcoms, other cartoons, other
3. Thundercat Setting Stories These stories use the Thundercat universe without using the main Thundercat characters. Fianna's story "Where Evil Lives" is an excellent example of this kind of story. Though Mumm-Ra does show up in it, it is mainly a tale different characters who become the ancestors of those in the Thundercat universe. Within this category comes next generation stories, pre-season stories, post-season stories, and other stories that don't focus on the main characters but still focus on the Thundercat universe.

How to Submit
First of all, whatever you send, send it to swordofomens@hotmail.com After that, choose one of the following options and have fun!
1. Send your fic as an html attachment on an email. This is probably the easiest way for me to receive fics, but if it doesn't work for you, don't worry about it.  Like I said before, I'm very flexible. If you're uncertain as to how to turn your document into html, forget it.
2. Send your fic as a .doc or .txt file. This basically means that you send it to me as a word processor type of file. And my word processor is very versatile, so it can read just about anything you send me. If you do that, I'll go ahead and convert it to html for you.
3. Send your fic in the body of an email. Yet another popular choice, especially for those rare email accounts that for some reason don't allow attachments. Hotmail does allow for html coding in its emails, so if you want to set up format in your fic, too, you can send it this way.
4. Create a new and mysterious way of sending information. If none of the above possibilities work as a means of sending fanfic, contact me and we'll work something out. I'm always on the watch for new stories and I'll do my best to accomodate you.

Okay, enough of this how-to junk. Where are the already submitted stories?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Back to the main page.
