Chapter 1: 'A Hearts Undying Wish' "Unwanted Memories" Cast: Hino Rei--Christina Woog

Narrorator: Our story takes place in the early morning hours at the Hikawa Jinja Shrine. We find our Rei waking to her friends, Phobos and Deimos, outside the window she'd forgotten to shut last night. Rei greeted her Birds and headed for the bathroom where she had laid her neatly pressed Shinto priestess uniform laid out atop a mid counter piece.
Mars: Well I had better get to sweeping, I have so many chores to do this morning.
Narrorator: Rei quickly dressed and made herself ready to face the day. As she slid open the door to the main thouroway (thur-oh-way) she saw the leaves had fallen from the cold night onto the walkway.
Mars: Wow sure must have been really frosty last night...(serious tone broken by a slight joke to herself)But I never felt a thing! (rei smiled) ^_^
Narrorator: While Rei started her sweeping she looked atop the shrine to her her Grandfathers face looking at the now lit up city of Tokyo glistening in the early morning sunrise.
Mars: Grandfather! You shouldn't be up their you'll get hurt!! (In a concerend yet slightly annoyed tone)
Narrorator: Grandfather just looked at Rei and gave an "I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING" sort of mark back. Rei gave a sigh and wondered why he just could not take a hint that she was worried about him. What with her Dad in Politics and her Mother dead...she just could not bare to lose another.
Mars: Wow this took forever! Let's see...I mopped the floors swept up cleaned the shrine and of course prayed to it, I think I'll head out to do some shopping!
Narrorator: Rei quickly went back inside and redressed into her street clothes and brushed through her hair.
Mars: (To herself) Ahhh...Rei you are one sweet little girl (Flattering herself). Well just have to grab my purse and I'm outta here.
Narrorator: Rei did just that and headed for the door.
Mars: Grandpa! I'm going shopping so i'll be back in a while. Sayonara!
Narrorator: Rei said this as she walked through the door and down the massive steps to the sidewalk where a bus came and took her downtown.
Mars: Oh wow all these dresses are much to expensive for me....it looks like I won't be buying much today... (sigh) Oh well guess I'll just go ho...oooome!
Narrorator: Rei quickly ran to a store window with a hapless smile upon her face seeing a dress that was with in her budget! After Rei purchased the dress she went home with a wide grin on her face in knowing today was not a total waste after all!
Later...
Narrorator: When Rei arroved at her home she saw ambulances and police scurring about and Rei was in shock as she ran to the steps to see what was the matter. As she raced up the stairs to the plateu on top. She saw her Grandpa being carried down on a stretcher with air masks attached to his face and blood all over.
Mars: GRANDPA! NO!!!!! (Rei screamed with tears running down her face)..NURSE NURSE! (Says this as she runs to a nearby Nurse) What happened!?
Narrorator: The nurse simply replied, "It looks as though he has fallen off the roof and it does look extremely bad at this point. We are rushing him to Tokyo Emergency Memorial Hospital right now.
Mars: Noo...(heavey panting in the feeling of helplessness and not knowing what to do) This isn't real...this CAN'T be real!!
Narrorator: She quickly grabbed a sack full of belongings from her room and headed down the steps to the hospital. Upon arriving their she quickly found a phone and called to Usagi-Chan's house.
Mars: (In tears so sound REALLY sad) Usagi-Chan...please come down to the hospital quickly! (sniffs)
Moon: Rei-Chan what's wrong? Has something happened?? (Moon say this in somewhat panic wanting to know)
Narrorator: Usgai quickly grabbed things of her own and ran out of her house and to a bus which had a route right near the hospital. When the bus arrived at the hospital loading/unloading zone, Usagi disembarked and ran to the waiting room of the hospital where Rei said she'd be.
Usagi: Rei...what has happened (Thinking all of this as she runs) why would she call from the hospital....? IT CAN'T BE! (Usagi freezes cold) Can something be the matter with Grampa? (continues running faster to the elevators)
Narrorator: As Usagi arrived next to the waiting room in the elevator she quickly got out and found Rei sobbing in her seat.
Mars: (looks up) Usagi! (cries hard again and runs and hugs Usagi) It's terrible Grandpa fell off the roof and they don't know if he'll live or die!! (sniff)
Usagi: It can't be true! Are you sure?
Mars: YES MEATBALL HEAD! (ANgry with tears for a second and resume crying)
Usagi: CALM YOURSELF REI-CHAN! (Sits Rei in her chair and sits next to her) We'll wait her together for the results....Ne? (Comforting)
Narrorator: About a half hour had passed and just when Rei was going to go in their and act balistic the Nurse came out....
Mars: Nurse what's wrong? How is he is he all right? Will he be ok?
Narrorator: The nurse assured Rei is still clutching onto life...but the next 24 hours would be ever so critical for his survival.
Usagi: (stands up) Rei are you ok? (comforting yet questionable)
Mars: I'm fine Usagi...You can go home now if you'd like but i'd prefer to stay here (sigh of relief for now...)
Usagi: No way I'd let you stay here by yoursel! (Big smiles! Usagi the natural cheer upper and they both sit) We'll wait together.
Mars: Thanks...Usagi
Usagi: Sure! (A cold flash overtakes Usagi) What if Rei really did lose Gramps....she'd completely lose it.
Narrorator: Hours after Usagi was told to come home because of how late it was the Nurse told Rei she should go home as well. Rei gave out and they assured her that if anything should happen she'd be told about it.
Mars: (At home in the bathtup with a towel around her hair) Grandfather....what will I do if I lose you too?
Narrorator: Rei said this and she looked up to see a shooting star streak across the heavenly sky's. Minutes later Rei pulled the plug on the tub, dried off and put her robe on and left for the Sacred Fire sanctum.
Mars: Oh sacred flames...fill me with your knowledge..(in a chanting) SHOW ME WHAT HAPPENED TO GRANDFATHER TODAY! (bursting with anger)
Narrorator: The flames burned brighter and hotter as Rei said this and a vague image appeared to the flames one of an evil looking women sending grandpa flying into the ground below.
Mars: WHO IS THAT WOMEN! If I ever see her face...she will not have a chance to see mine...She is gonna pay!!...
Demon Lady: Who's going to pay what Miss Hino Rei-San?
Narrorator: Rei turned around to see a dark figure in the shadows.
Mars: Who are you!!?? SHOW YOURSELF!
Demon Lady: My my that's a bit rude to come from....my own daughter.
Mars: How dare you call youself my mother...she is dead and you...you...say why hide in the shadow!? Come out here now!
Narrorator: The figure did just that and as she emerged Rei stood stunned and saw this women WAS the figure the fire had shown her.
Mars: You...you are the one who attacked my Grandfather!! You'll die you pastey hag! (brings out her henshin tool).. MARS POW!!...(don't complete the phrase you are balasted away by the women so you don't transform)
Demon Lady: IT'S WRONG TO ATTACK YOU MOTHER! (Say this in a sarcastic but laughing/giggling tone)
Mars: WHAT DO YOU WANT!? (angrily!)
Demon Lady: You my dear...I am your mother!
Mars: LIAR!! (snap!) My mother is dead and that is the end of it!
Demon Lady: Of fine...believe what you wish but either way I have come to recruit you to the armies of the Dark Universe! (Bored, annoyed but still determined)
Mars: What!? (in question) I'm not going anywhere!!
Demon Lady: Oh I think I REALLY could change your mind...Let's just say if you don't help me...Your Grandfather won't see anoher sunrise like this mornings again!!!
Narrorator: Rei stood stunned at this remark and believed today might be a taste of what might befall her grandfather...Rei knew she had know choice.
Mars: (Hangs her head) Alright....what do you want me to do.
Demon Lady: Why to come with me....(sarcastic cackle).
Mars: Fine! But if I mjst go with you, I must know your name...
Demon Lady: Oh of course I have been rude haven't I? You may call me...Demon Lady!
Mars: Demon Lady....I will help you only if you promise no harm will come to grandfather.
Demon Lady: Of course....you are a fine girl Rei-San...
Narrorator: Demon Lady then opened a portal beneath Rei which swallowed her into the Dark Universe....
Demon Lady: hahaha...HAHAHA...HAHAHAHAHAA!!!!
