For those of you who don't know, I make Sculpey figures. Lots of them. And my current project is Doctor Who characters. I know, who would have guessed?
I have just recently finished making all of the characters I originally intended to make from the current series (that's them at the top of the page), and, this summer, I am going to start in on the first wave of original series characters. The plan is to make all of the Doctors and one Companion for each of them in this first set. After I have made that set, I will almost undoubtedly start in on Donna, UNIT, Torchwood, at least some of the remaining Companions, and a few of the villains and side characters. For now, though, I'd like your opinion about a few things regarding the current set.
For the Hartnell Era, I intend to make Ian, just because he's my favourite. But if there is one quintessential Companion, it is Susan, so I wouldn't feel right leaving her out. She is, after all, The Doctor's _granddaughter_, and she would be the only Special Companion that I didn't make this time around. So, should I bend the rules a bit (they are really only guidelines, after all) and make her, too? And, if so, which outfit should I put her in?
Sorry, Jo fans - the Pertwee Era Companion I will be making is Liz. She wasn't there long, but she was super fantastic and I'm not budging on this one. Which outfit and hairstyle should I use for her?
I'm also undecided when it comes to Three's outfit.
As wonderful as Romana is (and she is - I'll no doubt be making her as soon as I start in on the other Companions) Sarah Jane is the clear choice for Baker T Era Companion. So, which outfit of hers do I make?
And, as far as Four is concerned, does he get a hat, or not?
Peri is the Baker C Companion I've decided to go with (for now - still haven't actually met her, so I suppose I may change my mind). Should I put her in the really famous, really revealing bright pink thing, or one of her less memorable but more modest costumes?
