June 10, 1941 My Dear Rube, Charlotte and Family, Mother and I wish to extend our thanks for the wonderful time we had in your beautiful home with those we love. It was very nice of you to have the family together for a real visit, expecialy on so lovely ocasion where John A. was honored by the ward members and your many fine friends. I do not recall haven meet so many fine men fc women at one time. Your dinner was most wonderfull and every thing pertaining to the entire program was marvelous. The dinner, the program at the Church and thenccthe many friends that caled to your home. We enjoyed it all. A real outstanding event in our lives. Every one seamed to be very happy. You have great reason to rejoice because of your good sweet family which are outstanding in so many ways, loving, obedient, honreable and delites in making you and every one happy. I am shure my dear John A. will be a real credit to the whole family as well as your other children.
