Nov. 14, 1941 My dear Charlotte, Time seams to be sliding along one day after another and night folows night. Still my truble stayes with me. It pains almost as much as ever. The boils are off my chest and back. New skin is coming as the old skin peals of. The new skin is tender. I still have a few skabes under my arm which are very painfull night and day. They are located on tender cords or nurves. I have procured a lamp and reflector which the Dr sayes will help out. I use it twice a day. The only help we need is a few minutes to fasten the bandage after using the light. So Mill comes down to do that. I am still using cornstarch and occasionly vasaleen. I was very glad to hear Rube was called to the home Mission. I am shure he will enjoy this work after a little practis. We should all do our part in this great Work. I was President of the home Mission in our stake 20 years and did a lot of visiting, posobley as much as 4 or 6 of my missonereys. We are gettng along o.k. Hope you are entirely over your cold. Accept of our Love. Very Sincerely I have not been able to do any reeding only lookin over the News.
