Feb. 21, 1942 My Dear Charlotte, We was glad to receive your letter. I am sorry to hear of J. R. having a continued alement. He looks so healthy and strong. I am glad Woodruff is gaining a little better, right along. You state you are having cold weather. Marie tells us they are having 45 to 60 below. We are having reel cold, althow it is moderating a little today--l5 above. We have had the furnace up night and day. If we turn it down any during the night it take 1/2 a day to heat up to 75. I hope this is the last cold spell for this winter. We received a very fine letter from John A. I am shure he is doing a very good work as a missenary and is developing fast. Melvin stayed with us two nights, working in Brigham and Garlin during the day, then Ruth and Melven took dinner with us Wensday. Ruth seamed very pleased. I wish you well in giving your lessen. I am Shore it will go of very fine and will be greatly appreciated. Mother is feeling better. I am taking good care of her. She has not had a cold this winter.
