Nov. 21, 1940 My Dear Charlotte, As we looked out of our window this morning and saw snow covering the garden Lawns, trees and shrubs were we thankfull. Well this was a great blessing. Posabley we do not always reconize our blessings as they come to us. We need the snow and the rain. Juat as we need the sunshine, the flowers and all other good things. This morning I was thinking of the money things we should be thankfull for. If the Gospel had not come to our forefathers where would we be today and what would be our condition in life. Shore, we would not be here, posaley today we would be hungrey, cold with no hop of a hereafter. Our lives may have been most deplorable Just like the rest of the people in the old World. So my dear we have ocasion of being happy as well a.s thankfull to our Heavenly Father for the meny blessings we enjoy every day of our lives. They are so numerous I shall not attempt to name them However, I am thankfull for my Parents, for there sinserety, honesty and what they taught me. There love will alwas be a fond treasure in my entire life. I am especialy thankfull for our dear ones There love and there lives means so much to us. The things that ineans most is that which is etearnal in its nature May each of us be more thankfull day by day as times goes on. We want you to Know we love you and wish you well, blessed with health and strength so as to enjoy life and the meny blessings that comes to you dag, by day, Mother and I sends you and your dear ones our blessings, our Sincere love and good Wishes.
