Bits and Pieces Gleaned from Suzanne Kennedy

Selma Aunt Selma was grandma Annie Charlotte's sister. She was a second wife to John H. Anderson. She was very much a part of the family. I remember my father telling me that grandpa Anderson set her up in a little home at one time in Cove to run a little family store there. It was rumored that at one time she had a miscarriage once but never bore any children. It was a very sore spot with my Grandma Charlotte that her father had a second wife, although I'm sure she must have loved Aunt Selma. Geneva got teased that she was Aunt Selma's daughter because her hair was so black and long (like Aunt Selma's) not like any of the other children in the family. Mosie & Mandy Annie Charlotte Eliason had a brother Moses (Mosie) and a sister Amanda (Mandy). One night when Mosie was young he screamed all night in intense pain. His feet pulled up crooked and deformed. Amanda was devoted to him her whole life and took care of him in his crippled condition. After their parents died, the two of them lived together in a little house, for the remainder of their lives. (Neither of them married) They were true soul mates.
