Derest Charlett,

I am feeling better than I felt 50 years a go. Maby you can't read what I
write.  I write on the line.  It must be my eyes, so it will only be Just a few
worlds,  Just to wish my sweet darling a very happy birthday and menny of them.
Sister Hanson sends her love and best wishes for a lovly birthday.  She is real
poorly.  I am so sorry for her.  I sure hope you are well by now.  Sarah told
me you were not well. I sure wished you could come home fore a week or so.
     I was so glad to see Marie, Clyne and Children.  They had a good time but
it was so short.

I must not for get my darling boy.  Hope you are feeling better now. How did
you spend the New Year?  Did you get your garments which I promest you.  If not
get them at the facry Papa wrote to you about.  Let me know if they were all wright.
How is your girl?--the one you love the most? Be sure you love her. Sister Hanson
is real poorly.   Eldon says hellow to you.   Now my paper is all gone,  so will have
to stop.  Write soon and may God bless you.
