                                                                John H. Anderson

The dark, dark night is gone,
The shadows flee, the morning star apears
The Gods meet, in exaltent counsel held
Divine messingers from courts of glory speed
Exaltant new to earth did bring
Behold you King, not a septer brings
But humbly meekly our fathers wishes bring
My Child, Lost; yet open I Heavens portels for thee
Behold I am the way, the truth and the Life;
If you come unto me, and in my footsteps tred
I will pilet the way, your debts. I will freely pay
Heavens gates will stand ajar, angels bid you enter there
Your name enroled and the Chorus Sing
Glory, Glory to God the King, Jesus triumphent wins.
