July 6, 1936 My Dear Rube and Charlotte, We have Just got back home. It rained most of the way and is still raining. I shorely do appreceate the very fine time we had with you. So did mother, Geneva and Luella. It was a real treat. Everything was so fine and all we met seamed so well pleased that one could not help but feal happy. Geneva did not have her glasses changed. The Dr. said there was practicly no change in her eyes and they could not be emproved with other glasses. We feal proud to have a grand son going to England to laber in the mission field. I have always expected this of Lue, and I shure would be disapointed if he had not been caled and acceped. of the call. We again wish him well. I am shure Jesus loves you my Dear Lue, for he loves all pure clean, honest, faithful young men. We have a striking axemple in Mat 19. 16-27. This young man clamed to have lived a good life from his youth. It is said that Jesus loved this young man. I am shure he had not lived as fine a life as you have. I realy feel proud to know that you have been so carefull about your habits and don so well. Our prayer shall be to our Hevenly Father to always keep you clean and pure. Bless you with his holy spirit that your feet shall always be planted in the strate and narow path that leads to eternal Life and eventualy back to God. Accept of our Love, good wishes for all. We Love you sincerely. Your Father & G. Father JHA
