Nov. 11, 1936 My Dear Rube and .Charlotte, I am very sorry we overlooked your anniversary. After supper last night it Just dawned on us. We tried to get you over the phone but apparently no one was home. We wish to extend to you our Sincere Congratulations. May every good wish come to you. Marrage is a wonderfull thing. It is the begining of real life. True, it brings its moments of sorrow, but it also brings holey Joy. There may be happyness and gladness without marrage, but there is not supreme Joy. Our live are knit togather for all time. Our responsibilety is to one another. Each one has the right to demand that. God's Spirit children are entrusted to our care. Our hearts expands. Our Love taken on a new form never before realized. Great responsebilitys comes to us. New energy is awakened within us. We feel there is much to live for. That there are great possibilitys in store for us in the great future, this life, then the next. It is the greater life, the longer life we are striving for, that endless life that has so much glroy to ofer, so much supreme and everlasting Joy.
