Sept. 25, 1939 My Dear Rube & Charlotte, We returned home today without any defeculty. It rained most of the way & coming over Sardene Canyon rode it was very fogy. To night it has cleared up and looks fine. I have Just been to a very importent High Counsel meeting. Mother seems to feel well after her trip. We want you to Know that we appreceate the most wonderfull reseception you gave us, and the rest of the family. Mother and I enjoyed this birthday gathering more than any we have had. Every one seamed to be happy and appreceative, especely the little Cottage meeting was very good. We were thriled to think one of the 4th generation of Mormonism stood up in such a humble and yet so posative and Sweet maner and related his experiance in the mission field and then stated his desire to carry on, made us all feal proud and happy of Lue. So we shall all Cherish in the fondest memory of this beautifuel experience of Sept. 24, 1939. So my Dear ones, we send you all greatings and much Love. May our Hevenly Father ever bless each one of our Loved ones. Very Sincerely, Your Father and Mother sends appreceations
