This was taken in 1953, shortly before I was discharged. Fred has his discharge nearly a year earlier.
We were very proud of our sevice to our country.
Even though we enlisted about a year apart, our military travels were so very much the same.
It began in Texas, Japan, Korea, then back to Japan and back to the United States.
Also, by the time that each of us had served three years, we had achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant! Not bad huh!
