DREA Taps Ghost Wind

  He is a black and white 15hh  HOMOZYGOUS few spot leopard stallion that has the noted characteristics of the Ghost Wind Horse.  He is a direct son of PRATT SULLY FIRE and was bred at the Decker's Red Eagle Appaloosa Ranch, a ranch known for producing high caliber, foundation Appaloosas.  He is an F-5 foundation stallion.  Ghost has a sweet disposition and is a proven color producer. He is producing showable foals that have a huge hip, a lot of muscling, tiny refined heads and outstanding dispositions. He is the sire of the 2007 High Point Award Filly. This stallion is out-producing himself beyond our expectations.

The fee for this awesome stallion is $400 with a non-refundable $50 booking fee.  Breed to this stallion if you want the breeding of the true Nez Perce horse!  Please book early, as we only accept 5 outside mares a year. Sorry, we do not offer shipped semen at this time.

Mare care information

Mare care will be $7 per day.  If you provide your own hay,  mare care will be free for the first week and  $3.50 per day after 7 days.  We have had to change our policy due to the fact that we just had way too many mares staying extremely long times at our ranch in 2005.  We strongly encourage owners to have their mares examined by a veterinarian to determine when the mare is expected to come into estrus (heat).  This will eliminate the need for your mare to stay any longer than the duration of her cycle.
