Fleming Esque's death date taken from a letter written from son Frank to David telling of his fathers illness and to come home if he wants to see him before he dies, at the bottom of the letter, it reads, father died, June 11 1903.
Catherine Loftis Esque death date taken from Obit: March 28 1914, Black Betsy, Putnam Co WV, buried at mcLaughlen's Burial Grounds, now known as Lilly's. Buried beside husband Fleming.
Catherine's sister, Louisa Loftis Kersey filled out an application for the Cherokee Indian Claims around 1906, but was rejected for lack of proof, however Matthew Moore (Catherine's grandfather) was Cherokee and his daughter Permilla Moore who married Matthew Loftis was part Cherokee as was her children. Louisa states she and other siblings were born in Cherokee Co, NC.

Anna Laura Esque marries Reuben Douglas Pringle Their family is listed in 1920 census of Putnam Co WV . children, 1-Roberta 15, 2-Lila L. 13, 3-Emmet age 12, 4-Robert H. age 11.
Effie Esque married Ira Spradling in Putnam Co WV, They had one child: 1-Earl, listed in Putnam Co WV 1910 census. Effie dies in 1912 and Ira remarries by 1920 census to a Minerva ?. Sons, Earl age 19, and Bentford age 5, are listed in census.
Ella Esque marries Alonzo Farmer in Putnam Co WV: They are listed in 1910 census of Putnam Co WV: Raymond City, Poca District

Andrew Thomas Esque was found in Spencer WV, State Hospital for the Insane in the 1910 census and in the Insane Hospital in Huntington, Cabell Co WV in the 1930 census. I do not have a death date or place.
note: do not confuse Andrew Thomas with another Andrew Esque about the same age listed in 1920 and 1930 WV census, this would be Andrew Green Esque son of Hiram Esque.
