Eta Theta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University on April 30, 1977 by six distinguished young ladies who felt the campus of VCU was lacking the qualities of a true sorority. These young ladies were determined to express their sisterly love, knowledge, service, and finer womanhood to the community and the campus.
They knew that the road was long and hard, but Zeta was their destination. After several weeks of hard labor, these six young women crossed the burning sands into Zetadom.
