Tilmanno (Tilmanni; Thilmann) ENGELS married Christina (Cristina) Margaretha BECKERS (christened 20 November 1666, Volmerswerth). Christina was the daughter of Philippum BECKER and his wife Apolonia. Tilmanno and Christina had 8 children: Dionysius (see below); Anna Maria (born 1699); Joannes Christianis (born 1701); Joannes Adolphus (born 1703); Christina Mechtildus (born 1705); Anna Elisabeth (born 1706); Anna Margaretha (born 1708); and Henricus (born 1710).

Dionysius ENGELS was christened on 06 February 1695, at St. Dionysius Church, in Volmerswerth; and died on 25 August 1739, in Volmerswerth, at the age of 45 years. Dionysius was married twice: first to Christina STRÜMP (born @1681; died 11 March 1729, Volmerswerth, age 48 years) on 24 October 1718, in Volmerswerth. They had one daughter, Anna Maria ENGELS (see below). Christina was the widow of Adolph STEGMANN. Dionysius married his second wife Sybilla GROSMANN (widow of Johannes ZORN) on 16 February 1733. I know of 4 children: Anna Margaretha (born 1733); Hinderius (born 1734); Maria Gertrudus (born 1736); and Joannes Gerrardus (born 1728).

Anna Maria ENGELS was baptized in February 1720, at Sankt Dionysius. She
married Christian SCHNEIDER (born @1714, Frauwüllesheim; died 22 Jan 1777, Volmerswerth) on 21 October 1739, also at Sankt Dionysius. I know of 7 children: Anna Margaretha (born 1744); Joannes Petrus (born 1745); Joannes Wilhelmus (born 1746); Joannes (born 1748); Anna Margaretha (see below); Hinricus (born 1754); and Joannes Tilmanus (born 1758).

Anna Margarethe SCHNEIDER (christened 1751, Volmerswerth) married Heinrich MEILER (born 31 January 1742, Rommerskirchen) on
01 March 1778, at Sankt Dionysius(see MEHLER / MEILER GENEALOGY PAGE).
