• Martin KÖSTER - He was born @1635. Martin was a cottager. He died 22 Jan 1688/1689, in Burgdamm, Hannover, Prussia. Wife's name - Gesche (born 1640; died 23 Mar 1709/1710, Burgdamm).Children:
  • Beke KÖSTER - She was born on 16 Apr 1666, in Burgdamm. On 10 Jul 1690, Beke married Henrich HASSLOG, at St. Martini Church, in Lesum, Hannover, Prussia. She died on 29 Jun 1695, in Burgdamm. (more information)

• Dirich KÖSTER - He was born @1670, in Burgdamm. Dirich was a smithy. He married Anna (nee WINDHORST) SCHRÖDER (widow of Carsten SCHRÖDER) on 03 Feb 1701, in Lesum. Children:
  • Martin KÖSTER - He was born on 23 Nov 1702, in Lesumstotel.

  • Gretje KÖSTER - She was born on 07 Aug 1707, in Lesumstotel; and died on 30 Jul 1709, also in Lesumstotel.

• Albert KÖSTER - born 06 May 1704, in Lesumstotel; died 26 May 1769, in Lesumstotel. He married Anna Hedwig GEILS, on 29 Nov 1725, in Lesum. Children:
  • Gretje KÖSTER - She was born on 14 Jul 1726, in Lesumstotel. Gretje married Seband GEILS on 09 Jun 1752, in Lesum.

  • Johan Ahrend KÖSTER - He was born on 04 Mar 1736/7, in Lesumstotel. Johan married Gretje GEILS, on 01 Jul 1762, in Lesum. He died on 15 Apr 1812, in Lesumstotel.
  • Claus KÖSTER - He was born in 1741, in Lesumstotel. Claus married Mette JACHENS, on 12 Nov 1771, in Lesum. He died on 26 Feb 1800, in Platjenwerbe, Hannover, Prussia. (more information)

• Martin KÖSTER - born Feb 1783, in Ihlpohl, Hannover, Prussia; died Jun 1848, Lesumstotel, Hannover. Martin was a smithy. He married Geshe WESSEL, on 07 Mar 1810, in Lesum, Hannover. I know of 8 children:
  • Gretje KÖSTER - She was born on 19 Jul 1811, in Lesumstotel; and died on 15 Aug 1811, also in Lesumstotel.
  • Anna Margaretha KÖSTER - She was the twin sister of Gretje, born on 19 Jul 1811, in Lesumstotel. She also died on 15 Aug 1811, in Lesumstotel.
  • Johan KÖSTER - He was born on 11 Jul 1812, in Lesumstotel. Johan married Margarethe HOPPE, on 08 Mar 1838, in Lesum. He died on 26 Jun 1875, in Lesumstotel. (more information)
  • Anna KÖSTER - She was born on 09 Oct 1815, in Lesumstotel. She died on 01 Dec 1815, also in Lesumstotel.
  • Hinrich KÖSTER - He was the twin of Anna, born on 09 Oct 1815, in Lesumstotel. Hinrich married Geshe Margaretha SEGELKEN on 04 Mar 1847, in Lesum.
  • Beta KÖSTER - She was born on 20 Nov 1819, in Lesumstotel; and died on 23 Nov 1847, also in Lesumstotel.

  • Anna Maria KÖSTER - She was born on 14 Mar 1827, in Lesumstotel. She was the twin of Martin Diederich.

• Martin Diederich KÖSTER - born 14 Mar 1827, Lesumstotel, along with twin sister, Anna Maria. Martin came to the USA about 1851. He served in the New York State Militia from 1855 until 1857. Martin worked in the butter & egg business. He married Henrietta Dorothea ROTHERT, on 05 Jul 1860, in New York, New York. (photographs) They had 9 children:
  • Martin Henry KOSTER - He was born on 22 Mar 1861, in New York City. Martin was married twice: first to Wilhelmina MYER, who died in 1896, and then to Dorothy SCHUMACHER. Martin died on 07 Jun 1938, in Brooklyn, New York.
  • William KOSTER - He was born on 19 Dec 1862; and he died on 08 Sep 1887, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York.

  • Martin Diedrich KOSTER - He was born on 30 May 1868; and he died on either the 19th or 22nd of Jan 1871, in New York City.
  • Bernhardt Henry KOSTER - He was born on 30 Jul 1870, in New York. Bernhardt married Francis A. Mills, on 03 Nov 1894, in New York. He died 11 Jun 1904, in Brooklyn, New York. (photograph)
  • Diederich KOSTER - He was born on 20 Feb 1873, in New York. Diederich was married twice: first to Mary E. SHEA, who died in 1895, and then to Emma NICHOLLS. Diederich died on 21 Apr 1937, in New York.
  • Meta Maria KOSTER - She was born on 26 Nov 1876, in New York. Meta married George Louis BLOCK. (photographs) She died on 22 Dec 1952, in New York.
  • Anna Mollie KOSTER - She was bon in Dec 1880. "Mollie" was married to Joseph MEYERS. She died @ 1919. (photograph)
  • Henrietta Wilhelmina - She was born in 1874/5, in New York. Henrietta was married to Fred Charles SCHEPPERLE.

• John Frederick KOSTER - He was born on 05 Oct 1866, in Union Hill, New Jersey; & died on 05 Sep 1916, in Brooklyn, N.Y. John worked in the butter & egg business. He married Annie BEISEL (the girl next door)), on 22 Mar 1888, in Brooklyn, N.Y. (photographs) They had 10 children:
  • Annie Louisa KOSTER - She was born on 02 Dec 1888, in Brooklyn. Annie died in Dec 1893, in Brooklyn. (photograph)
  • Martin Diederich KOSTER - Martin was born about 1893. His wife's name was Francis. Martin died on 26 Jun 1928, in Brooklyn. (photograph)
  • Charles F. KOSTER - He was born on 07 Nov 1894. Charles died on 05 Mar 1895, in Brooklyn.
  • William August KOSTER - He was born in 1896. Bill's wife's name was Francis. He was a New York City Police Officer, who died as a result of injuries sustained while he was working. He died on 19 Aug 1947, in Brooklyn. (photograph)

  • David Matthew KOSTER - He was born on 05 Dec 1902, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. David was a New York City Police Officer. His wife was Minna "Minnie" STAMM. David died on 04 Mar 1967, in New York. (photographs)
  • Clarence KOSTER - He was born in 1904; and died in Jul 1905, in Brooklyn.
  • Amelia Viola KOSTER - "Tooty" (photograph) was born on 18 May 1908, in Brooklyn. She was married to Antonus "Tony" BALEVICZ. They had no children. Tooty died on 27 Apr 1992, in New York.

• John William KOSTER - born 18 Jun 1891, at 11 A.M., in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York; baptized 26 Jul 1891, at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Brooklyn; died 27 Nov 1974, in Kings Park, New York. John served in the U.S. Army during World War I and as a volunteer plane spotter during World War II. He worked as an oil truck driver during the Depression and later in the butter & egg business. John married Selma HORN, on Thanksgiving Day, 27 Nov 1918, in New York City. (photograph) (photo with father & brother) They had two children, both of whom are still living; and, therefore, I will keep their information private.
