If you want to buy a horse, look through the stables. Usually they have some horses for sale, or go here to look at the horses for sale, or go to the classifieds. Sometimes you can look in the web forum.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR HORSE

Right after you make up your horse, you must find a place to keep it. Look over each stable carefully. You must buy a bag of oats and bale of hay every month every month if the stable you board at doesn't feed them for you, and every month you need to pay the stable fee.

every month, you must take your horse to the vet and farrier.

each horse dies at the age of 35.

we have noticed that the boarding stable owners haven't been buying feed! please feed the horses!!!

To be a vet though, you must pass a little course. (and the info above)

To be an instructor/trainer, you must be willing to take care of other horses when the owner is on vaction. (and the info above)

POINTS SYSTEM

points are a way to keep track of how much a champion your horse is. the more points, the more he's worth.

if you make up a horse, it starts with 0 points. if you buy a horse, he keeps the points he has when you buy him. ask the owner for the number of points or it may say next to his name how many points he has. if you breed two horses, your baby will always have points. it goes: the stallions points + the mares points divided by 10, and that's how many points your baby will have. I'll read the breeding form, and e-mail you telling you how many points your baby will have.

a 1st place gives your horse 15 points, a 2nd 14, a 3rd 13, a 4th 10, a 5th 8, a 6th 4, and not placing gives you 1. keep track of your horse's points! and NO CHEATING!

Shows

Anyone can run shows, even if you don't own a barn. stable owners run the shows at their own stable, costs will be depending on how many jump poles they need to buy, or to paint, how many plants they have to rent etc. if you don't own a stable, you can rent the grounds from someone who does own one. they cn determine the cost. but just like the owner would have to if it was their show, you'll have to pay for the decorations and accessories and things like that.
