INQUEST As it turned out, many of them knew what they were doing and what life on Earth had always been about, so they were hunters and savvy businessmen, wealthy and confident in their expert knowledge of how to track and kill, skin, cut, split and merge to take their rightful share in the ever-expanding economy and its ever-growing population, even when prey was scarce from their unrelenting property development throughout the remaining jungle and forest (and the spreading waste and garbage) they invested in astronomy and deep space exploration, rather more urgently then as the planet turned sour they expected to find at least several more. |
