This opens with one of the coolest intros in all of black metal. The repetitive riff and demonic mumbling which leads into "Chaos Domination (Conquer the Enslaver)" gives the whole release this really impending, foreboding feel to it. And when the song proper starts....it's like a punch to the face. Heavily percussive, fast as shit, grimly produced (without being too ridiculous). These guys, as far as I am concerned, are the legitimate heirs to the throne of Blasphemy. When people say Canadian War Metal, Blasphemy, followed closely by Conqueror, should come to mind. The drumming seems to suffer from the same fate as that of Black Witchery's on this release: some monotony. But still, Conqueror proves why they are so essential on this release.
