FRED PICKERING
Fred Pickering , who has over 34 years of musical experience,
is making his dream come true. With the combined gift for playing acoustic guitar,
his
love and passion for Opera and his unique vocal ability,
he has had the opportunity to
tour up and down
the east coast singing with renowned groups like Dr. Hook and The Platters.
Fred is considered the "Old man" by some of the local
musicians around town because he
has been
singing forever. Fred says
when it comes to music he considers himself
a "weekend warrior" and he does
this for fun.
Fred's fun began back in 1963 when "The Beatles"
hit the United States.
Fred had the opportunity to play on the stage at the
Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville with Andy Hengle april 1998.
