Dr. Simone received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic, magna cum laude, from Logan College of Chiropractic. He entered private practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1987 and moved to Colorado in 1999.
Dr. Simone has completed a three-year post-graduate orthopedics program. He has completed over 245 postgraduate classroom hours and 200 supervised clinical hours of acupuncture training, far exceeding the requirements to practice acupuncture in the state of Colorado. Dr. Simone has been admitted to the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture as a "Fellow" and "Diplomate", the highest academic standing with the organization. He completed a one-year post-graduate certification program in sports medicine. After passing a national board examination he has been designated a "Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician" by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians.
Dr. Simone is a Board of Governors member of the American Chiropractic Association. He is also a board member of the Colorado Chiropractic Association. In 2007, Dr. Simone was inducted into the International College of Chiropractors as a "Fellow"--one of the most honored awards in the chiropractic profession.
Dr. Simone served the community of Firestone, CO as Mayor from 2002-2008. He has also served on the town's Planning Commission and Parks and Trails Commission. He is currently a Planning Commissioner for the City of Ft. Lupton. He is a U.S. Army and Air Force veteran, serving for 27 years. Dr. Simone reached the rank of Major.
Dr. Simone has over 17 years experience teaching anatomy and physiology, pathology and general biology and the community college level and has taught at 2 nursing schools.
Jannine Simone was born and raised in the Denver area. She graduated in 1994 from the University of Colorado with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. After working for a year in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lakewood, she became a traveling therapist and explored the eastern United States. Jannine gained experience in all areas of physical therapy and then accepted, what she thought was a three month assignment, a position in Virginia. She met and then married Dr. Simone and stayed in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area for almost four years.

The majority of Jannine's physical therapy experience in is outpatient orthopedics. She describes herself as a manual therapist competent in treating musculoskeletal conditions throughout the body and providing rehabilitation for post-surgical patients. Jannine recently became trained in electrolysis (permanent hair removal) and laser facial resurfacing.
