Lee and Lillie Ownby Ogle and Mary Ownby (Lillie's mother) working at the broom shop on Glades Road in the 1940's. They made brooms from broomstaw. The brooms were made and sold for cash or bartered for other things they needed.

I barely remember my Great-Uncle Lee. But I do remember being told that if I didn't come back to the house, a bear would get me. I seriously doubt that stopped my wandering.
