Naoe Nagi

'Mr. Takatori...I float stuff...'

Nagi is the youngest, most talented, most Japanese, and most thoroughly creepy (in my opinion) member of Schwarz. He is fifteen years old and has telekinetic powers. Which is pretty cool, if you ask me. He seems to be the "Omi" of the group (the group being Schwarz,I reiterate) because he's compact (read: small) and is also somewhat levelheaded.

Nagi may have his wits more about him than, say, Farfarello...but I don't think he's QUITE as sane as, perhaps, Crawford. This is proven by the fact that Mr. Nagikins likes Tot. Not that I *don't* like Tot...in fact, I think everyone should!

Nagi's past is a mystery to me...although I have heard tell that he tells people about his past and they just don't care. He may do it just to annoy them. "Them" probably being Schwarz. Who it may or may not be wise to annoy. Seriously, though, Nagi has a complex where he just wants to protect someone. Perhaps this means that he, himself, was never protected when he was growing up. I don't know. But he chooses Tot to protect, which is sweet.

Creepy little bugger, ne?

At one point during the show, Nagi kisses Tot...or tries to (they bopped heads!), and then she kisses him. After that, Crawford slaps Nagi (how mean!) and tells him to forget about that girl. Tells him not to forget he's a member of Schwarz and that he knows how cruel the world can be. Nagi than has a memory of crying as children laughed at him, and being left alone on the street.

His Weiss counterpart is Omi.

Later on, though, because Nagi *really* digs little Tot, he gets REALLY pissed when Farfie (read: Farfarello) stabs her in the chest (oops!) and makes a building fall down with his powers. It was the telekinetic event of the CENTURY!

Nagi's seiyuu is the fantabulous Sasaki Nozomu, who has also done the voices of Yuusuke in Yu Yu Hakusho and Kazuya (a.k.a. Suka-chan) in Koko wa Greenwood! Good for him!

Interesting Fact About Nagi's Seiyuu:

I think he's REALLY shy. One of Adrienne's fansubs of Yu Yu Hakusho has a seiyuu interview at the end and while Ogata Megumi and the others are blathering away, Nozomu-san is sitting quietly with his head down, looking thoroughly uncomfortable. Just thought you'd like to know!

Now, because Knobs usually operate on a lack of sleep and too much caffeine, they come up with some pretty odd stories. One of which was actually created to be about Nagi's past. If you can believe that. So, to read The Way Things SHOULD Have Been about Nagi's...uh...past...just follow the link there. And may whatever god you believe in have mercy on your soul. ^.^*
