NEWS AND RUMORS

Nitro Results ARE UP!!!!!! Champs section is also updated!!!

I know everything on here is already out of date. I will try to update more. More Info later. EVERYTHING BELOW IS WAY OUT OF DATE!!!!!!!!

Starrcade

Kevin Nash vs Goldberg (World Title)
Ric Flair vs Eric Bischoff (Flair wins he's boss, loses - leaves)
Rey Mysterio Jr. vs Juventudd Guerrera vs Kidman (CW Title)(???) Scott Hall vs Bret Hart (US Title)(?) DDP vs Giant Chris Jericho vs K-Dawg (TV Title)

The Sandman will not be using that gimmick when he comes into WCW. He doesn't even know when he will debut. It will most likely be with Raven in some way.

If Jericho loses his match to K-Dawg, it is very likely he won't resign with WCW.

Nash is head booker now, DDP is also an "idea man" for WCW Now.

I forgot to mention that Hogan retired.

Villano IV sprained his neck in the spot with Raven and Kanyon.

Look for Bischoff/Flair to continue their feud and possible have a match a Starrcade to decide if Flair can return. They should have settled their differences by that time.

Bret Hart is really injured. It might keep him out for a month and cancel his Starrcade match with Hall.

The Sandman has signed with WCW.

Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho and Dean Malenko will no longer be included in the Cruiserweight division as they feel they can work in the heavyweights well enough and it hinders their upper mobility.

Reports say Eric Bischoff is trying to sign Mark McGuire to show up.

After firing Sean Waltman, pissing off both Hall and Nash, calling Ric Flair "a piece of trash", telling most of the longtime WCW/NWA stars "you don't put asses in seats", and throwing coffee on Eddie Guerrero Eric Bischoff has decided that he wants to be a nicer guy. Bischoff is apparently starting to come around to the idea that he should treat his talent better and has vowed to do so. According to rumor Bischoff has went so far as to apologize to some of the guys that he tormented earlier this year. It should be interesting to see who gets pushed in the coming weeks to make up for his past actions.(Hades)

World Championship Wrestling will be countering the WWF's recent record breaking merchandise sales on the Home Shopping Network by appearing on the HSN's rival network QVC. The show will air on September 11th at 11PM EST.(Parrish)

Randy Savage is set to have another surgery on his knee in the near future and he will probably be out of action well into 1999, however; we could possibly see him return to an on camera role as early as next week on Nitro. Credit to Joe Pedicino

Well, it's starting to spread all over that Stevie Richards is in negotiation with WCW to return. Al Issacs has gotten reports that Stevie is wearing Nitro shirts at NWA shows, and Mark Madden reports that Richards and Terry Taylor have met with each other over his possible return.(too sweet)

WCW has apparently signed Mexican star Vampiro Canadiese. WCW was impressed by his match at the Georgia Dome Nitro recently.(Spoiler)

A rumor is going around about WCW's show Thunder. As of late, Thunder hasn't been producing ratings like Bischoff expected, but good enough to stay on the air. However, the rumor is if Thunder doesn't average a 3.0 to 3.5 rating, it could lose it's spot airing on TBS. What does this mean? (Tom Curtis)

The Observer reports that Bischoff has made it clear to people like Benoit, Guerrero, Konnan, Malenko and Jericho that if they don't sign extensions to their contracts, they will not be pushed over the next year. Some of the extensions included substantial pay hikes. So far only Konnan has signed, and according to the report, Benoit is the most likely to leave. Jericho is expected to sign. (Micasa)

The British Bulldog is not gone yet. He may be returning to WCW soon

If anyone is interested in doing a RAW report for my site. Send me an e-mail.
