2375.11.22

 

 

 After several months working under deep cover as agents of Lord Skragg of the Krazzle, the command crew of the Uncorn was able to liberate their ship and rescue their Captain from his unjustified sentencing to Federation's worst penal planet. The Unicorn, once again under the command of Captain McAllister, is enroute to Dante Base to take part in another fleet-wide mission against an entirly new threat, a hostile race known only as The Bane.

2374.8.15

   The Unicorn was the victim of a Krazzle attack today. As the attack was centered in the Sick Bay, the obvious conclusion is that this Lord Skragg wanted to eliminate Biggs. I'm am not convinced this is the fact of the matter; however, the end result was the destruction of the Unicorn's Sick Bay module. Biggs and Kira have been transferred to Dante's facilities. The viral infection continues to fight off all our attempts to find a cure. We have been able to determine that the virus has settled into a 28 day cycle. 2374.7.17

   Although the Unicorn is once again space worthy, well-intentioned but dunderheaded meddling with her computer systems on the part of Marine 2Lt. Lessonar is requiring a complete rebuilding of her main and secondary computer cores. Lt. Cdr. David Smith, my XO, has been reassigned by Fleet Command; several other senior officer positions remain unfilled. My Chief Engineer has been recovered, almost too easily I think, from the hands of the Krazzle, but is infected with a virus leaving him quite incapacitated. Tests have shown that both Lt. Malsten and Lessonar have also be infected and quarantine measures have been put in place. My intentions are to hasten what repairs we can make to the Unicorn's computer systems and then take her deep into Krazzle territory to gather intelligence and find a cure for this virus. If the Krazzle develop this virus into a bio-weapon for use against the Federation, we currently do not have a defense.

         

Chain of Command and Mission Overview

  Bravo Fleet was established to defend the Federation against Borg, Dominion and now Krazzle excursions into UFP space.

Currently, Bravo Fleet forces are deployed along the Krazzle boarder, sector 349 watching for farther BORG attacks in Beta Quadrant and with the Federation/Klingon/Romulan forces in the Alpha quadrant fighting the Dominion/Cardassian forces.

  Task Force 17, code named STOAT (Special Tactical Operations Assault Team) is under the command of Adm. Jarovik. STOAT's mission has been defined as follows:
  • To defend all the Federation from all enemies, Foreign and Domestic.
  • To provide defence From primary Threat Forces such as the Borg, Dominion and Krazzle.
  • To provide the members of Bravo Fleet with all necessary Tactical Support.
  • To provide the members of Bravo Fleet with all Necessary Intelligence.
  • To prevent the Dominion gaining further foothold within the Alpha Quadrant.

  The Krazzle signify a very 'real' threat to the security of the Federation.

Located within a region of space that is relatively unknown to Starfleet, they have an aggressive nature that needs to be addressed.

In view of this new threat and the restructuring of STOAT, this Strike Team has been set up to concentrate on the Krazzle.

The AKST currently consists of three starships:

  • The USS Oddyseus, Flagship, Status Unknown
  • The USS Encounter, Status Unknown
  • The USS Unicorn, Captain McAllister
