Halloween
Halloween is a night that comes once a year.
Halloween is a night that children hold dear.
They love to dress up and put make-up on,
to be someone else, but oh what fun!
You never know what they will be,
when you open the door, then you will see,
lots of witches or goblins or a bumble bee,
lions and tigers to scare you and me.
They have such fun going door to door,
collecting their treasures and wanting more.
Here's hoping that cold and rain stay away,
and children will have a chance to say.
Hello, Trick or Treat!
We want goodies to eat!
Oh! Thank You so much, what you gave
is so neat!
We had lots of fun going door to door,
you know we'll be back next year for more!
