Rain Drops
Rain drops falling on the ground,
pitterpatter, what a sound.
I love to listen to it all,
in spring and summer and even fall.
I lay in bed and fall asleep,
as rhyme and rhythm you do keep.
You help things grow, whether fast or slow,
you help our streams and rivers flow.
On stormy nights how you do pour,
and it almost sounds like a giant roar.
You fall down quick, you fall down fast,
and before I know you're done at last.
You dry up fast, you disappear,
but you come back when clouds are near.
