Driven

Driven

Sometimes...
I wish I didnt love her..
Seemed life..
Was such a simple thing..

Lonely days..
With no intrusion...
No cutting edge..
Or fear of pain...

Then again..
No smiling passion..
Or childish laughter.
No scent of perfume..
filling my senses..

No inviting arms..
Or tender kisses..
No heated breath...
Or racing heart beat..

Her flaming whispers
Drive me to live..

And love her..
