arigato: thank you. Also: domo arigato or arigato gozaimasu, more extreme forms of showing gratitude.
baka: idiot, stupid, silly
daisuki: I love you, I like you a lot
ganbatte: good luck, do well
gomen: I'm sorry, forgive me, Also: gomen nasai, a more extreme apology
hai>: yes
hentai: 1) a pervert, freak, weirdo, 2) perveted anime, manga, art, like pornography

irrashai: welcome!
ja ne: see ya later, bye, Also: ja, ja-na, depending on the dialect.
kawaii: cute
kirei: beautiful, lovely
kowai: scary, frightening, freaky
kon-nichiwa: hello, good day
kuso: ( the "u" sound is often silent) damn, shit, general expletive
maa: well (as in: well ain't that peachy?)
nani: (usually a question) what?, what is it?
ne: isn't that right, isn't it, right?
ohayo: good morning, Also: ohayo gozaimasu, a more emphatic greeting
onegai: please, Also: onegaishimasu, a more emphatic begging
onii-sama: big brother, Also: nii-san, a less worshipful form
shi-ne: die!
sugoi: awesome, cool
wai!: exclamatory, as in: Yay!, Woo-hoo!, showing general excitement.
